as for the guy who said that germany plays better footy than the dutch...wake up and smell the roses idiot...the germans have alot of hardwork to do in the next 4 years if they wanna avoid yet another embarrasing first round exit...in their hometown....much credit to them for having an amazing history but the Germany of today is NOTHING compared to some German squads of past days...same can be said for the dutch..BUT they are still a much better team allround than the Germans. The Germans never had a chance in this tournament...

Italians were possibly screwed over by a bad call on cassano but shit...if they would just stop crying for two seconds and play like they did against sweden, theres no way bulgaria woulda only lost 2 to 1...That score shoulda been 3 or 4 to nothing and every italian fan knows it.

This is shaping up to be a great tournament so far but rather than discuss the matches like this thread was probably intended for, certain people would rather take it upon themselves to be the next internet soccer hooligans and call players ugly. What a beautiful game eh?




p.s. anyones tournament to win after the group stages...dont think the dutch have enough to do it..tho id like to see kluivert play (anyone fill me in as to why he isnt partnering nistelroy???) as for the football matches, i'm becoming more addicted to watching them. i would like sweden to win. they are the surprise team of the tournament for me. like does grass even grow up there? it's like Tampa Bay winning the Stanley cup. How does a state where there is no winter get the cup.
