Once in a blue moon, I throw in my two cents. An absolutely fabulous night. I was bouncing from one crazy scene to another. Started off the night proper, walked right into mainroom to see crazy lines for coat check, Waltz into the KOOLHAUS and check my coat in less than 30 seconds. JUNKIE XL takes the stage. I moved right up front. I WAS THE CRAZY MOFO wearing the light blue, yet heavily sweat stained PUMA T shirt. I did not stop jumping till he got off. I even Had FeFe Dobson breaking it down in VIP. She's pretty cool chick once we started talking ater Junkie got off the stage. Picotto was disappointing. Now hold up. This man is a legend in his own domain, but he has fallen off. He was drugged up,as I personally saw him do drugs every time he bent down under the wheels pretending like he was tying shoelaces, looking for CDs,m etc.He lost his damn mind like a person in an insane assylum behind the wheels. Making crazy faces, almost like a fucking clown. He had no physical presence on stage and lacked energy. His mixes were average at best and some guy wanted to kick my ass because i was telling my friend that Picotto had lost his edge. To each your own, but don't follow anything blindly. Open your eyes to the truth and make a personal judgement call. You don't have to AGREE with anything I have to say, but I'm just giving you my perspective. I missed Second Sun and I wished to god I hadn't. Shaya's video of Second Sun makes me almost wanna cry that I missed such greatness. I hooked up with some friends and shot the shit for an hour more and went in to mainroom only to see second sun come off the decks and OLIVER go on. He tore me a new asshole there for a while. Some crazy classics. Van Buuren's Shivers, etc. He was ready to throw down. That man needs more LOVE, respect and support from us at Tranceaddict. Support the man who has been there for us 9 years without missing a beat. NO SICK DAYS. NO SNOW STORMS. HE DELIVERS WEEKS AFTER WEEK. I have a lot of respect for Oliver. I moved my ass back to KoolHaus and finished the night with Blank and Jones. Once again, I was the Crazy Mutha with the Puma shirt and anyone in the front knows, we threw down a crazy jam. 7am, the legs caved in and went back to the hotel for a nice toke of buddah and vitamins and water. Ate a light breakfast and crashed, under the influence of some good pharmaceuticals. All and all a great night. Let's try not to judge eachother's opinions as to how sick a night was. Just read them without passing judgement. Afterall we all have different points of view. Let's accept and celebrate that instead of writing back cussing eachother out about how one person is ignorant and doesn't know anything. Educate the man, don't belittle him. This guy was ready to kill me because I had no more respect for Picotto. Let's kick some truth, the man has disappointed me the last 4 times he's been here. Now someone else, might love the dude. KOOL, but let's respect eachother, not hate eachother. You may not like this persian drink Doogh. It's soda water, yogurt, salt, mint and a hint of lime if you want. It's an acquired taste. I LOVE IT and many other persians do too. But i would never want to kick your ass if you didn't like it. TO EACH OUR OWN MAN. I thought Picotto sucked and Second Sun would have been a better choice. Oh well. Live and learn. I still had a fu*@in amazing night. That's my review and a small message to the people of the world. Once again, you don't have to agree with anything i have to say, just don't judge me instantly because we have a difference of opinion. I almost had to knock a guy out in self defense because of a comment made about a DJ?????????????? What is wrong with us as human beings. When did we stop communicating and became so hateful. Accept the fact that not all people are gonna see things your way. There is no right or wrong, just different perspectives. Stop judging others, because all you're doing is judging yourself. Love yourself first and truly accept yourself for who you are, good and bad. Then realize that everyone is doing their very best to do well given the circumstances in their lives and the events that has shaped their destiny. Once you really notice that, you realize we're all in the same struggle and hatred, jealousy and anger will disappear from your life and vocabulary. ALL THAT REMAINS IS LOVE, PEACE AND JOY. Let's go spread the word.
