although at this time of the season, it will be too hard to get a good defender... Real might probably try to snatch a centre back and move Ramos to right side and when Cicinho comes back he will fight Becks for his position... it doesn't add up as I don't see any good centre backs available in Europe.

There are tons of good defenders avaiable in Europe, willing to move to Real Madrid. The problem is, you can't sign them until January, unless they're unemployed right now. Needless to say, it's a bit hard to find an unemployed player good enough for one of the top teams in the world.

Good win for Real Madrid.

Dynamo Kiev looked terrible in the last pass and when they were about to finish of their shots. They had 3 great chances in the first half to score, and they surely could've scored on at least one of those chances.

van Nistelrooy celebrates a new child with the first goal, and Raul scores the second one. Real continued coming offensively and Kiev's defence was all to weak. First goal never should've happened and they had major problems at the back.

Reyes keeps on scoring goals for Real which is a positive thing for you guys, Guti had a pretty good game aswell.

Still no test for Real this, but they did what they should've and a 5:1 win looks even better on the table after 2 games. Lyon won their game aswell tonight in Romania with 0:3 after goals from Fred, Tiago and Malouda.

Both teams in the top so far..

Posted by fastmp3 on Sep-26-2006 20:55:

there's nothing to be excited about, Kiev is the worst team of the competition, these guys can't even control a ball properly, they had a shitload of counter attack occasions but they couldn't finalize not even one occasion.

madrid's defense is horrible, don't let the score fool you.

Posted by zoric on Sep-26-2006 20:57:

Could've been said in a nicer way, but that's what I thought myself while watching the game.

What's the deal with the defence all the time?

Posted by fastmp3 on Sep-26-2006 21:00:

and where the hell is the cannavaro i used to know ?

ya the game was nothing that important... yet it was nice to see the team do good.. hopefully they will continue..

Ruud's first goal was one of those typical cherry-picking moments

Kiev's goalkeeper assisted Ruud's first goal

Posted by Dj Alex (ISR) on Sep-27-2006 04:40:

Big deal..
lets see real wining in Kiev..

Posted by zoric on Sep-27-2006 11:50:

Dinamo Kiev isn't what it used to be, and will definetly struggle at home aswell..

Posted by noikeee on Sep-27-2006 12:28:

It's strange, Dinamo does have a couple nice players, Milevskyi for a start is a future star, the goalie despite the blunders makes some great saves, Gavrancic has the reputation of being a decent centreback, etc..

Posted by zoric on Sep-27-2006 13:16:

Goran Gavrancic is pretty slow, so that really messes up things for him. But he's good at playing with the head and he really works hard. Milevskiy scored yesterday, I guess that was everything he could've done..

But really, It isn't the quality which lacks even though they're not as good as they were in the good old days with Scheva and a fantastic Rebrov at that time. It's their finishing, which isn't worth talking about and has to be improved a lot, and fast.

They could do pretty decent in Kiev, and perhaps steal points from the better teams, Real Madrid most likely if that's the case. But they have to get their things straight first, They missed like 3 fantastic chances which could've changed the picture of the game, and the result.

Some individual misstakes and they got their asses wipped.

That's irrelevant though, this is the Real Madrid thread. Stay on topic.

Posted by fastmp3 on Sep-27-2006 21:04:
