Simply delightful. If by chance anyone hasn't listened to this set and is a Mills fan, get on it!

No doubt Beyer - as noted above - will show us a thing or nine on Essential mix as well.

Enjoy your day technoids

that guy was *awesome*...I love how he dances for a second and just puts his hands in his pocket and continues on, ahahahaha. Why does everyone else suck though?

cool vid...who says you need a big budget to make a cool video?

Dec. 10 is circled (well, added to the Outlook calendar, lol) for the Beyer EM, thanks Kate

Could you imagine being the girl who was being filmed bouncing around like that candid in the mall! god... I dunno if I could do it lol

so awesome

My verdict on the posted Liberator sets...

wowwowowowowow....

Thank you Kate!!!!

I'm so pumped for Saturday

Video from the recent set Mills/Hawtin had at Avalon in LA...

Nice vid
That's where Cari Lekebusch played last night!

I love how Mills does that "pull the plug" trick - if you will. He just stops all sound for like 2-3 seconds, catches everyone off guard, then drops it again. Showmanship.

I was liking Richie's stuff there too, and as a whole. When he was here with Cox at the 9th(?) Guv b'day....i couldn't get into him: though that was a while ago i suppose.

I just had a conversation with a friend not too long ago about how we should attend one of those Fukhouse nights...perfect timing! Will be there

I think I'm playing 11:30-1ish.
We dropped in on Friday on the way home from Mod Club and I was happy to see it nicely busy!
I keep meaning to PM you some of the tracks i'm throwing in a new mix...lots of stuff you'll like. (obviously I keep remembering to do this only while I'm @ work and the track list is at home)

Lol @ shameless plug.

Yay! After being a bit bummed about a recent interview that didnt work out, I got confirmation today that my phone interview with Chris Liebing is scheduled for this Thursday! A bit sooner than I was expecting so I have a lot of prep work to do, but I wont complain. Chris has long been one of my favourite DJs & producers cant wait!

It'd be nice to see him back in Canada... feels like it has been awhile but that's mostly because there was a stretch when he was booked in Montreal about 4 times in 20 months.

He was awesome at Swirl last year...haven't had the chance to see him since. He needs a Toronto gig!

yeah that was the last time I saw him too
Out of the 6 or so times I have seen him though my favourite is probably his 6 hour set at Aria in the summer 2003.. sooo good

yes you were and I cannot go

just finishing up some prep work and noticed Liebing said this in an interview almost 2 years ago

Q - You have done a lot of touring this past year and have played all over the world. What are you favorite places to play and what gigs and parties stand out for you?
Chris: I recently had a great North American tour and played in many places I have never played before and places that I didnt know what to expect. Of course I had a great night, as I always do at Aria in Montreal, but I also had a really good show at Avalon in New York City and was totally impressed with the crowd and the vibe that night

Wonder what he thinks of Toronto??? The Beyer night went well.....maybe word is getting around that more people here - i think - are getting a genuine interest in techno. Beyond Cox and say ...Hawtin??
