Fanciulli, Fontaine, Acquaviva, and Doorn...with whatever in between...depends on set times...but we should be able to work something out Unlike some of the other clown mofos who will be whoring the Kool Haus for trance all night. Pfffffft :P

Well, LoL is usually something special... perhaps more tha Guv anniversary parties

Posted by sticky_shoes on Oct-08-2006 02:31:

wow...I'm actually excited for tomorrow night

I was kind of dreading the overcrowdness of this event...

But I don't give a crap anymore...

Even if I have to elbow some people in the face and step on people's toes...I'm going to dance it up proper

Posted by preppie chick on Oct-08-2006 02:31:

^^^ labour of love is a bigger event and better recognized out of canada. It also takes place on the last wknd before school starts again for some people.

guv's anniversary on the other hand often falls on thanksgiving wknd when people have to travel home to see their family, or already have too much school work among other reasons. THESE are the reasons why this roll call is not as big as the one for LoL.

Just to add to that...Americans celebrate Labour day the same day as us...so we all them yankees up here for LoL whereas their turkey day ain't till the end of November..

I didn't have a problem dancing to Ferry, so I'm hoping that tomorrow will have plenty of room as welL!

Don't forget about Dish dude. Make sure you at least try to fit half an hour in the Guv after 5am. Sharam is on tour for his new CD so it's bound to be a good set. Plus, Dish has been really good lately IMO, and this is coming from someone who was loosing some serious interest in them.

Sharams GU dubai is unreal... I can see him being VERY "on" tommorow, and that kills me even more that I am missing this...

last time @ guv, Dubfire MURDERED me.... his set was unreal 7am+

YES! to both comments.

if Dubby starts feeling "a little ghetto" again, you won't be there.

Meh. Sharam's GU is "ok" in my opinion. Besides a few good tracks, there are a lot of old tunes and cheese. Exactly what I've come to expect from Sharam. But what I've also come to expect is that CD release parties are usually very good. So this is one of those times that missing Dish would probably be a bad idea.

It sucks that you aren't coming. Don't worry though, Dish are here every 2 weeks, so they'll come back soon. :P

You know all you need to know.

You like tunes.

(Hmmm... I should take some of that advice myself!)
