Kimi rocked it.

Boring race, but it was worth it to see Alanso and Hamilton go side by side into Eau Rouge. F1 drivers are nuts.

Posted by Orko on Oct-03-2007 19:19:

I cannot believe Hamilton is going to win, why oh why!

The brits will NEVER shut up about this. For god sakes, they made his quali time out to be a hero's effort. The track was drying out you tards, and he was the last quick man out on the track. Had there been another minute, alanso/kimi/massa could have been on pole.

Posted by stren on Oct-03-2007 20:58:

As much as I hate Hamilton mania, he deserves to win. Too bad FIA help him.

Hamilton on pole again, a ferrari drivers championship win seems further than ever now

Posted by pmoisse on Oct-06-2007 23:08:

I think Hamilton desrves the championship this year. Nobody has matched his constistency in winning point through the season. Alonso should have had his points stripped because of his emails with De la Rosa regarding using the stolen Ferrari data. Alonso is a prick anyways.

kimi has had a solid year, but hasn't had the consistency that Hamilton has had. There's still a chance for him and if Hamilton can't win, I really hope it's Kimi.

What a race. DAMN STRAIGHT.THE TITLE IS OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

i need to post more stuff like that

now all we need is a kimi win, alonso being no more than third and hamilton not scoring 4pts

Posted by noikeee on Oct-07-2007 11:37:

hamilton today -> epic lulz

Norbert Haug admits McL made a (big) mistake by letting hamilton stay out for that long on those tyres

Posted by trewqy on Oct-07-2007 13:23:

I still want hamilton to win though.

Hes been by far the most consistent driver and hes a ROOKIE ffs.

I dont wanna see alonso win and in spite of how much i like kimi as a driver, i still think he doesnt deserve it this season.

Agreed re: Hamilton, though at the moment, Kimi has the most wins on the season with 5. He's just lacked that extra bit of consistency / reliability that Alonso and Hamilton have had.

I just don't want to see Alonso win. I think he's been a whiny little bitch this season especially having been out-performed by a rookie teammate. Can't he just suck it up and be sportsmanlike about it? No. He's still taking shots at the team, demanding parity between him and Hamilton like there's some big conspiracy.

It sucked to see Kubica park his car after a really good drive today. Good result for Button too who showed some decent pace for a change.

McLaren pushed Hamilton's tires too far and they paid a hefty price for it.

Interlagos is going to be awesome.

Comon b honest, Kimi deserves a title after all his terrible years at McL. Had he been at Ferrari the past years with a car whose engine doesnt blow up every 2 races he'ld been a WC at least once. So judging by that he earns the title. He's showed pure skill for numerous years now. He just lacked a decent car.

And as far for Alonso, i cant help but thinking that theres a reason for his bitching. Hamilton is the prodigee of McL and for many years they've pumped several thousand of pounds into him, so no wonder they prefer a hamilton title over an alonso title.

beh, on a final note: McLaren sucks

Agree with G0dfather, Kimi has had bad luck countless times over the last 3 or 4 years and has never cracked hissy fits though frustation shows. He has shown his skill with a shitty McLaren that blew up almost every race and like Godfather said he would've been WC if had raced in a Ferrari.

Although i hate Hamilton you can't deny that he is a very talented kid and he may deserve it but I also think that Kimi also deserves for he never quits and has the fighting spirit. Consistency plays a huge part and thats where he's behind. Alonso can go cry in the corner i hope he doesn't win either.

Can't wait for the finale at Interlagos!

Forza Ferrari! Forza Kimi!

Posted by pmoisse on Oct-08-2007 17:19:

^^^ I agree with both of you guys re: Kimi. He's very talented and has a solid attitude. I would very much like to see him win.

But, I think that over the history of F1, if you use hindsight to say "well, if he only had..." : a better car, better reliability, more consistency, a more favourable team situation etc etc you could apply this logic to drivers all the way back to the 50's. Stirling Moss is a prime example. One of history's greats that never won a World Driving Championship.

Kimi will have his day, maybe even later this month at Interlagos. If he wins, he definetly deserves it. If Hamilton wins he deserves it.

I just hope that Alonso doesn't win. Especially given his demand for team equity in Autosport this week. I understand it's a tough situation, but if you're arrogant enough to overlook the history that McLaren has with Hamilton, it's your own fault.

its Kimi time

fantastic ending to a fantastic season

Posted by Timothy on Oct-21-2007 17:51:

Haha, when people said Kimi was terrible in the first half the season, I knew he'd strike back in the 2nd half when he adjusts to the Ferrari. Guess who's laughing now!!

Posted by trewqy on Oct-21-2007 17:55:

KEEEEMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

WHAT A RACE. LEWIS'S ELECTRICAL FAILURE, THE CHAOTIC START, THE CRAZY PITSTOP WHERE THAT JAPANESE ROOKIE HIT HIS OWN TEAMMATE(LOL).

FELT KINDA SAD FOR LEWIS.. WENT FROM 18 TO 7 AND STILL CANT WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

BUT OH WELL, THE MOST TALENTED DRIVER(TO ME) SINCE SCHUMACHER HAS WON IT.FINALLY.

Hamilton's world championship can wait. It will be his turn one day. But today was Kimi's day. He deserved it.
After so many years of frustration and so much despair at Mclaren, Ferrari finally gave him what he should have got a long time ago.

Gutted for the lad. Alonso not winning it either softens the blow a little bit though - I can't stand that whinging cunt.

Posted by Quantized on Oct-21-2007 18:36:

Yeeeeeeeesssssss!

Kimi finally wins a world championship. Ever since i started watching F1 in 2003 i've wanted this man to win (well, not before Coulthard, but he's past his time) and as said before, Kimi should have had the title a looong time ago. Superb driver.

Unlucky for Hamilton i suppose, he's a very good driver but this is obviously what a lifetime of driver training provides you with. His time will come. I'm glad Alonso didn't win, hate that guy.

Oh yeh, and what a finish to the season! Formula 1 should be like this every year - i hate watching the last few races when someone has already won the championship; they usually end up being very boring races. Still think there should be more teams other than Ferrari, Mclaren and BMW getting podiums though.

Posted by woscar on Oct-21-2007 18:39:

Unbelievable! How unlikely was this?

Go Kimi!!!!

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Oct-21-2007 22:28:

A possible twist in the tale...

Lewis Hamilton could yet be crowned world champion after Brazilian Grand Prix stewards summoned representatives of BMW Sauber and Williams for alleged technical irregularities.

Representative from both teams are meeting with stewards to discuss a technical infringement, which is believed to be a fuel temperature irregularity.

Williams driver Nico Rosberg finished fourth, with BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld fifth and sixth respectively.

It is understood fuel temperature issue can give a car extra horsepower advantage, and so is a clear breach of the rules.

Should they be disqualified, Hamilton would be promoted to fourth place and therefore earning him enough to be crowned world champion above Kimi Raikkonen.

Raikkonen won the race and, should the orginal result stand, would claim the world title by one point from both Hamilton and his McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso.

However, a precedent from 12 years ago means that Hamilton's title hopes remain slim.

On that occasion - also in Brazil - Michael Schumacher, driving for Benetton Renault, and David Coulthard who at the time was with Williams, were initially disqualified as their fuel did not conform to samples approved by the FIA after finishing first and second respectively.

But a week later the FIA chose to reinstate the drivers' points, while the

teams were not allowed to keep the points in the constructors' championship.
