lawler's set on tuesday was miles better than the last couple of times i've seen him. i have no idea why the guy is so hit or miss, but it's sets like tuesday night's that keep me going to see him again even tho there are times that he's down right mediocre.

vinyl could really make the rooftop a kickass place if they put a little money into it, but that would imply that they'd have to put money into the club in the first place, which doesn't happen.

Yep, that is paintball place - where colored rain fell due to the high body temperatures in there during Skylab 2006. We thought someone was spraying the crowd with paint but oh no - it was paintballs stuck to the ceiling MELTING.

I predict Skylab will be there again - as well as the Halloween shindig.

The soundsystem there was not up to par and the sole lighting was the screen behind his head. But the set itself was the best set I'd heard him spin since I saw him at Space in Miami WMC 2006. Here's hoping he repeats it even dirtier in San Fran. I cannot think straight I'm so stoked to get on the plane tonight!

done for good, the friday night house line up is being moved to vinyl rooftop on fridays. the promoters say they *should* be able to bring their sound from the shelter over to the rooftop. so it shouldn't be a total loss. as long as Uddermadness can keep bringing the sick talent, i'll keep going.
