As far as I know, 1 judge has completely finished, and Cyrax is goin on holiday on Monday so he will more than likey be done aswell, also Ste went to see DuMonde last nite so he will probably post his up after he is back and checked his results

Well, I'm off for Lloret de Mar for 10 days

yes before, cant it be organized where cyrax sends his scores to one of the other judges, and they just total it up

I feel the exact same way too! But it's all good. I'll try to get atleast in the top 5 one of these days.

And what I'm even more gutted about is I've just done a fooking awesome mix...far better than the one I submmitted

1/3 of the mark is tracklist progression remember, and I thought ur mix was mint on TA radio and the 3 hour UKTA radio set, I only got the first hour then I got buffer, but IMO your mixing is good, especially when u consider there are some ppl who enter who really can't DJ like Gibbo and DaveC, jk lads

Hope u had fun on ur hols m8, get back and get these results sorted, coz I think every1 is done now, apart from ste who is finalising his marks tonight, so hopefully we should have the results up 2morra sometime fellow competitors

Good luck to 1 and all, apart from maybe DJRavemonkey coz if he wins I will have to live with it for quite a while with him living too close for comfort in September

anyway i need a word about this comp.

ever since i think it was neo who said there was more marks if you play original, all of a sudden everyone decided to do a progressive mix! doing progressive/prog trance doesnt make it automatically original, i had a right boring time marking thru most of these mixes, for example, gibbo just played his normal style which lets face it are a lot of popular tunes but who else played a set liek this, nobody! now you all know me for being blunt and str8 to the point and now i may not be a fan of progressive but its alright in moderation but 75% of the mixes come on! i know theres a few of you playing your normal style blah blah but some of you didnt, and this isnt a personal attack, its just advice for next time! there were quite a lot of original playlists in there but set after set of prog isnt the most exciting thing to mark. anyway u may see it was hard to judge between u all anyway when the marks come in, but i did award extra marks for people who were more "creative" with their playlists.

and yes im still willing to be judge next time, youve been warned! hopefully therewill beno cock ups with people getting mixes in, i think NO deadline extensions for mixes in because i had plenty of time after finishing my exams but there was what 7 mixes in? then i had to start organising GG and SSS etc so maybe we shud be more stricter on mix entries?

Because at the time i didnt have a comp in my room, so o recorded it to a minidisc, then to comp. The disc was only 74 mins...

I definatley wouldnt say my mix was progressive!
