Yeah, and up till that point I had given her the benefit of the doubt. I thought that was a pretty elaborate lie to tell, especially to me - knowing I have in depth knowledge of cancer and treatment, etc.

I mean, you never want to believe someone you like and trust is actually a bullshitter. I always just pushed the thoughts from my mind and rationalized in her defence. But once this whole LA lie came about, that was the last straw. She really went to a lot of trouble on that one, lol.
