They don't make those anymore, i believe stanton only made them a very short time. Buth however, there are some shops that still have it...

If wanted, i know a shop in germany who still haves one in stock.

you know, youre probably right, but i have had a really hard time properly dialing in the right weight. do i just flip the weight around and turn it to 3g? that simple?

i really like them, but everyone has their own opinions. i have brought them out to a couple events i was playing at and the other djs who used them would either tell me how much they liked them or how much they hated em. i guess its all personal preference. i really wish they read CD Text (they don't) or would at least soon come out with a firmware update via the SD card that would allow them to do that.

no

first take of the counterweight
turn it around and place it on the arm

now turn just as long that your arm keeps floating horizontaly stable in the air

now put hte front ring of the weight at zero (only the ring, not the weight)

now turn the weight itself untill you got the good weight of yor needle

I'm not sure from your post if you know the model of mixer it is. It is a Stanton VRM-10.

I don't necessarily endorse this seller, it was just the first place I found the image of the mixer. Hope this helps you out.

My ultra basic but reliable livingroom set up.

Decks: 2x 1200mk2

Mixer: DJM-300s

extra: Alesis ModFX filter

Just finished setting it up and breaking it in over the weekend. Basic but a blast to mix on with multiple friends.

^^^ Nice setup dude, same as mine except I don't have cool lights at the base of my decks.
