Those turntables are the Stanton ST-150, really nice ones, very strong motor and a high torque, and some nice features as pitch select (8%, 25%, 50%) key correction, reverse, adjustable start/stop time, 78 rpm, line ou + digital out.
Some really nice features buth i don't use them all, only the key correction or the +25% with very slow records...

does the power source for the lights not give you an electronic feedback? i used to have lights around my setup years ago and it gave me an awful buzz

No there is no effect to sound quality because of them. I only did that so I could have all the lights off in the room but still be able to see my settings.

I have a question for all you dxm06 owners. Does your dxm06 not sound good, I mean does the sound quality when you try to record sound a little harsh. I try recording sets with this even with the volume way down and with cd players and it stil sounds pretty bad compared to uncleaned vinyl being mixed with on my djm-300.

Posted by phobosCGS on Mar-14-2006 22:32:

Are you using a proper line in on a soundcard with Abelton or Soundforge? I found that my mixes don't sound that good with my dxm06 but thats because I'm using my laptops microphone in line.
