Indeed, pretty silent in here. But, A challenge between me and nabistai is comming up. Nabistai has some things to take care of now, and will challenge me when he has the time to make a mix. Prolly next week or sumtin. I've got my mix done yet, it isn't uploaded, but, got it on my comp. Maybe we can already start looking for a judge, any volunteers?

Oh, any1 in desperate need of a judge? I'm willing.

Intro track: 3/4
I don't like male vocals very much, but your choice of intro track was good. Starts off slow, and steadily, the energy grows.

Consistent beatmatching: 10/10
Excellent work

Consistent phrasematching: 10/10

Harmonics, Volume matching, Gain structure: 8/10
very decent.

Track selection: 7/10
Like I sayd, I don't think male vocals sound good in songs, and most of your tracks have those male vocals...

Mixing style/Originality: 9/10
Pretty original mixing, I sometimes didn't know wether your outgoing or your incomming track was playing.

Sound quality: 5/5
Nothing to say about that.

Effects 1/3
I don't think I heard effects, I could be wrong though. Tell me, where and I'll check them.
It's pretty hard to discover effects if you don't know where they are.

Track order: 4/5
The order of your tracks is good.

Exit track: 2/3
I think, it doesn't have enough the energy to end your set. But, you could've chosen a much worse track.

Mix 2

Intro track : 3/4
I Don't like the intro track very much, A little overplayed, but, I have to admit
that it does bring energy into a crowd. Decent intro track!

Consistent beatmatching: 9/10
Actually, you avoided beatmatching a few times. Where you did have 2 beats, you did very good.
Why 9 instead of 10: Like I sayd before, you didn't give me alot of chances to judge about your
beatmatching abilities. The author of mix 1 has often 2 beats on eachother and therefor, he had more
risk that the beats fall out...But also, very decent work here.

Cosistent phrasematching : 10/10
Can't say anything about that.

Harmonics, volume matching, gain structure: 9/10
Let's start with harmonics. I can't say anything about that. Some tracks really look like they were destined
to be together. (9.5/10)
Volume matching: It's good work, but not excellent work. Some tracks quite alot louder than their previous tracks. (8/10)
Gain structure: I'm not sure if it really was your plan, but, you had 2 climaxes in gain, witch is excellent. (10/10)

Track selection: 8.5/10
some nicer and some less nicer tunes. btw: Could you send me a tracklist?

Mixing style/Originality: 8/10
You have used effects in songs. That's very nice. But on the other hand, you didn't really suprise me. It didn't think at
any point in your mix: "which track is playing now?". To be honest, your mixing style is what I'm practicing on.

Sound quality : 5/5
Nothing I can say about that either.

Effects: 2/3
I don't think you used effects. Allthough, you used effects in songs => 2/3

Track order: 4/5
You had 2 Climaxes => very good.

Exit track: 3/3
Your exit track is excellent. If you play this track in a club, everybody will dance the remaining energy out of their bodies.
Excellent choice!

I know that I haven't posted in a while, but I've been swamped with work, school, wedding stuff and lots of other things! I am still waiting for two challenges to be complete. Luke and Kaos and me and NRG2Infinite. Is there any word on these challenges? If not, then I'm gonna report the wins to the ones who actually uploaded their mix! I uploaded mine, and I believe that Luke uploaded his (I know your style fairly well now. I'll do this unless there is a mix in either folder in the next two days.

Okay, I fixed the match between Kaos and themightycad, reporting a win for cad and a loss for kaos. I also took the liberty of reporting a win for myself vs Nrg2Nfinit and a win for Kaos vs Luke, since neither of the persons who "lost" submitted a set, they are declared the looser. If the two that lost have a problem, ie, they are going to upload a set now, then I will consider changing it etc.
