raptor domination....what is goin on here!! go raps!!
another 20 point win.
They looked good, and it's nice to see the players on the bench enjoying themselves again.
Even if for their own good they should just call in sick for the rest of the season.
I dunno... That 8th playoff spot looks good right now...
Heck, I want the Raps to do well so that all those people who doubted Sam Mitchell and Babcock to shut the hell up.
5 in a roll!

I haven't liked Calderon since I first looked at him; I knew the guy just didn't have the balls to play till the end and it showed today
Couldn't make the most important free-throw of the game, and then does a piss poor job guarding.

It's just...watching the guy play, he looks like he's running around with his head chopped off; no flow or smoothness to his game. It's like he doesn't know what he's doing there. |

Crazy game as Raps are up 66-53 against the Knicks at the half.
Jalen Rose abusing the Knicks on 2nd quarter. He's got 20.
Maybe he wants to go to the Knicks?
Rose for Jamal Crawford... That would be nice.
And the Raps win in a blowout against the Knicks.
Good to see Calderon back on track again with 10 assists.
Raps lose again after getting spanked by AK47 and Jazz last night and to woeful Portland tonight.
Showed a lot of guts though, coming back from 17 down to lose by 2 in final seconds. Still can't play defence.
raps are gonna be GREAT.....
in about three years.
in other basketball news, I got tickets to see the Knicks play Houston at the Gardens in Feb. z00t
I hope our old friend McGrady's back spasms will cool off by then. (doubtful)

By ROBERT MACLEOD Thursday, January 26, 2006 Posted at 12:58 PM EST Globe and Mail Update The Toronto Raptors have scheduled a 2 p.m. news conference for this afternoon where it is anticipated they will announce the firing of general manager Rob Babcock. In just the second year of his contract, Babcock has been the focus of plenty of speculation about his job security following a number of questionable moves and decisions during his brief tenure. The Raptors, having just returned from a 1-4 west coast National Basketball Association road trip, looked lethargic last night in a 104-88 loss last night to the Chicago Bulls at the Air Canada Centre before a sparse gathering of 14,198 fans. The loss, Toronto's third in a row, dropped the Raptors record to 14-29 on the season, one of the worst marks in the NBA. Advertisements ad1 In Babcock's first year in Toronto last year he was roundly criticized for the signing of volatile point guard Rafer Alson and for receiving next to nothing in return for the trade involving franshise star Vince Carter. The Raptors struggled to finish with a 33-49 record, missing the playoffs for the third consecutive season. He's also faced significant criticism for the selection of centre Rafael Araujo with the No. 8 pick in the 2005 NBA draft. Araujo has struggled in his first two season. |
