I sure do hope chelsea lose interest in Ballack ( unlikely ) so that he will consider united, what do you guys think are the chances of him coming to united ? I think hE will be the perfect replacement for Keane.

i have more chances than ballack to join united

Ballack is an offensive midfielder. At least most effective in that role.

An all action midfielder is whats really needed; someone who is everywhere. All this shit about defensive midfielders started because keane had to sit back more as he got older and more injury prone, eventually becoming a "defensive, holding midfielder", and quite a lot less effective than he was when he could go from box to box constantly.
As for ballack, personally i got sick of hearing about him months ago.

yeah yeah...they just don't have money like the richer clubs.

But that's the way it is. At least I don't cheer for a team because they field all internationals every day. I stick with my teams.

As if I'm changing team becaue one isn't good enough, no way.

I've been rooting for Juventus since I got interested and started playing football, It's 14 years soon and I still haven't changed my oppinion and never will.

..so yes, I do stick with my teams

Shut up Raveed, I wasn't talking to you

Now I am though:
You're talking about Nikola Zigic of Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade).

I heard that they were interested in buying him from Crvena Zvezda a couple of weeks ago. He's a great player in my oppinion, he works hard, runs a lot and is amazing in the air where no one can take him because he's so tall. But he's also very good with his feets and can shot from long range.

He's been in St. Etienne in the French League where he didn't get very much time to play. Then he came back and got a new chance in Crvena Zvezda. He's scored 55 goals on 77 matches on two seasons.

So overall, yes, It's a good player to buy. Perfect targetplayer with other skills than just to win balls in the air. Btw, He's in the starting line-up for Serbia together with Mateja Kezman, he was also amazing this WC Qualifier.

I'm sure you do but a lot of people jump around to whoever's winning. Were there any Chelsea fans on this board a few years ago for example? Most people on here seem to support the "big" teams, meaning the BIG MONEY teams like the Man United, Barcelonas, Real Madrids, Milans, etc. And that's fine...but why disrespect teams that constantly are struggling to survive in the ever widening gap between the rich and poor in football? The European Leagues are going to need to fix the situation in the next decade.

People probably find European Cups more important and entertaining. Sure, everyone wants their teams to play in Europe and try to win some titles. Others are just satisfied with their favourite teams playing in their own league and for an example the own cups.

For me, this is cool. I almost always like the smaller clubs and I always support them when they're playing, the difference is that I won't support them in two situations, when they're playing either Atltico de Madrid or Juventus.

Besides those two, my favourite club is Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) which I've also been loving for a very long time. They were big, but now they're building something interesting for the future and producing new players who will be important for the future, they're like West Ham or any other team who produces big players who leaves, but the only difference is that they're one of two very good teams in Serbia & Montenegro.

Sunday was a day for milestones as Gary Neville made his 500th United appearance in front of 69,070 - a new Premiership record attendance at Old Trafford.

The skipper's achievement was applauded before the game, which was effectively won by the only team-mate to have made more appearances, Ryan Giggs (664 matches).

As long as we carry scoring as many goals as we have been, he can stay on the bench.

I have a feeling Fergie could be playing Saha to increase his value in the market so he can sell him over the summer instead of RVN as is being speculated.

woot only 7 points now behind the ruskies ...lets go united ... ruud becoming only the 8th red devil to reach the 150 goal mark..kudos to that

Good win by Man U. Could have gone either way and TBH Bolton deserved at least a draw.

Doubt Chelski is going to slip up 7pts in 4 games though.

Good to see Saha playing awesome. He had that potential as shown in his days with Fulham... Dunno if Man U should sell him though. Having depth is a good thing.

Posted by Cloud on Apr-03-2006 18:55:

...Glory

Noone can fucking stop us atm. With Saha on good form and a good record return by RvN, we are unstoppable.

GO GO GO MAN U!!! I know u can do it...
