I usually go to American Express Travel. They charge a $5 fee per conversion (no matter how much), but waive the other fee they usually charge if you have an Amex card.

There are also ATM's at Schiphol airport, so provided they're working, that may be a good option.

Tip: Always keep a small amount of Euros leftover from your trip if you plan on coming back, then you don't have to deal with this. Also check to see what kind of ATM fee your bank charges for international withdrawals. I'm with a credit union, and all of my ATM withdrawals abroad are FREE (yes, no charges whatsoever)!

I was just reading an interesting article in one of the Dutch newspapers today.
The oldest person that will visit Trance Energy is 67 years old

Since he's retired he visits Dance Valley, Sensation, Trance Energy and other big festivals. He loves trance music. Also he visits rock festivals in Holland.
His favorite DJs are Armin, Tiesto and Sean Tyas. He will be at mainstage to see Tiesto and the other stage to Sean Tyas. He will also see some other DJs.

He started to love the music in 1993, his son was the one that got him into this music. Since than he visit a lot of festivals.

We need to give this guy a TA bracelet too... To cool for this guy, Jordy, I think Ilan is bringing his Mom too.

Yes and Ilan is not the only one, there are more people bringing their mom and/or father to this amazing event.

Last year my mom (almost 56 years old) almost wanted to join me and Maryliz to go the Elements Of Life concert in the Gelredome, but she thought that she couldn't hold it for so long. So she decided not to go. And she felt so bummed about it, when she saw my impressive 1 hour and 22 minutes video I created of the concert. She had goosebumps all over.

I hope one day she will say: I Go With You To Party
That would be so much fun, seeing my mom dancing. She loves Tiesto's music a lot.

that is absolutly awesome!! 67 yrs old....i saw a guy at club space during WMC '06 at the Armin, Markus Schulz, and Mauro Picotto event that had to be at least 65-70 yrs old....ilove it....everyone traveling today have an easy and safe trip...see everyone tomorrow nite at dam square!

I see at almost every party I'm going people of my parents age or older. I love to see that. You'll see: Music has no age limit

I think it was not the best Trance Enery edition. And if you believed the trailer, we would expect something we never saw before, but still thinking: What was it? It was not that special. And for the 15th edition, I expected it more special.

I saw Kyau & Albert, Ferry, Marco V, Tiesto, Rank 1 and Mark Sherry.
Kyau & Albert played a nice set.
Ferry played an awesome incredible set. I loved it.
Marco V surprised me with his set. He played also really good.
Enjoyed his and Ferry's set a lot.
Tiesto was
What a set, it was insane.

Rank 1 was not that good at all. Piet played a lot of tracks he played last year too and the rest was okay. Didn't do anything to me.

Mark Sherry was okay too, had some nice tracks, but also he couldn't give me that feeling Marco, Ferry and Tiesto did to me.

It was great to meet new TA's, most of them from the US and Canada and see the familiar faces at the 2 gatherings I organized on Friday and Saturday. Also inside I met 2 NLTA's: Massive84 and JP.

A lot of sets are already available for download and I understood that the set of Tiesto is not broadcasted, so it will not be available
Maybe I'm wrong.

Deon, Tiesto was insane. The tracks he played were amazing (as you can see ofcourse). And yes it was totally different than his radioshows or past gigs.

Track 15 is also one of my favorites.
I recorded a lot of vids of his set. I think around 10-12 videos

What I know, what tracks I recorded, not sure if I recorded Airport:

- track 13
- track 18
- track 22
- track 25


Oh and something else, 2 videos, one of the TA group in front of the Jaarbeurs yelling Trance Energy and a video to vote for the new US President, recorded live from the Jaarbeurs venue.
