Nice lil tussle with Murray

Posted by Vlad on Nov-18-2008 03:02:

Ruutu is gonna get hurt one day... Laraque is hunting him (which is bad enough) and now Mara and Orr want him. I cant wait for him to piss off Pronger, or Thornton, or Carcillo, or Brashear.

Sharks got even with the preds 4-1.

He deeked right and fanned on the puck going left, he reached back for the puck and shot it at Lundqvist anyway as he was skating back to the bench from the face off circle. After it was over, Mara and Orr got in his face and it looked like something was gonna go down, but Im glad they kept their cool cause theres no need for suspensions, especially when they play them again next weekend in Ottawa. I wonder how receptive Ottawa fans are to him, considering how big of a joke he is to the sport they love. Its one thing to be a pest (aka Sean Avery) or to be an enforcer (aka Laraque), its another to go out of your way to try to hurt people and then mock everyone.

Posted by bamski on Nov-18-2008 15:41:

What the fucks wrong with him

You should know what he's like outside the rink, he's like the nicest guy on the planet. He does snap from time to time on the ice.. but I've never seen him be as unsportsmanlike as these incidents have shown

Apparently people change, and not always for the better.

Beanie Man wants blood.

what the fuck is up with the montreal defense allowing carolina to take 48 shots on goal?

Posted by Vlad on Nov-19-2008 02:48:

oh yea, and i hope after tonight the columbus coach wakes the fuck up and lets steve mason start in net.

most of the shots were harmless...they also blocked 30.

i do not know what the fuck is up with this team now. I hate to go all don cherry here, but too many europeans and a lack of heart seem to be going hand in hand again.

Posted by Vlad on Nov-19-2008 16:05:

Im gonna try to make a move for Sid the Kid, with Backstrom + D. Roy, Horton or Statsny - and then pick up Steve Mason, with Deslaurier on my watchlist.

*crosses fingers*

It will be near impossible for me to trade cause I have a comfortable lead against the rest of the league, and anything I propose no matter how fair and decent of a trade it is, will get rejected.

Posted by elFreak on Nov-19-2008 16:44:

Trading is always easier in long term youth because there are so many more dynamics with age, and win now vs later. You can get a lot of fair value easily than just a straight stat pool. Then again our season is simulated based on real time stats.

Posted by Vlad on Nov-19-2008 16:50:

Well my league uses real time stats also. But because my team is stacked as it is already, getting Crosby will be near impossible... the entire league didnt want to give me Heatley when I made that move I posted to you guys about.

C: Getzlaf, Sharp
L: Zetterberg, Nash
R: Iginla, Perry
D: Phanuef, Lidtrom, Ehrhoff, Markov
U: Jokinen, Selanne
G: Lundqvist, Backstrom, Price
----
B: D. Roy, Horton, Statsny

Im fucking stacked, and people in the league dont want me adding to this, or trading, cause they think Ill be impossible to catch.

Its a money league, pot is $250 to the winner.

Posted by elFreak on Nov-19-2008 17:43:

Ours is a 27 team league at 50 bucks a pop. Good pot with smaller rewards for other things than just winning. Our teams play each other through a computer simulator.

Anyone have a vid of all this controversy? Im in the dark on this one and Ive heard alot of talk about it.

Few fights

Posted by elFreak on Nov-20-2008 16:33:

leaving to ottawa around 3 to hopefully witness a ruutu beating.

Len...he just is a dirty player which the nhl is full of. It is the way he does it and breaks so many unwritten rules. If you are gonna play like a badman, drop the gloves like a badman and don't be a vaginaman.

zaggazaw.

Posted by bamski on Nov-21-2008 10:15:

You talk like he's never fought throughout his career, so he hasn't fought Laraque or Boogaard or Brashear, but he's dropped quite a few guys.

Few = 20

Posted by elFreak on Nov-22-2008 16:57:

Hey I'm just a habs fan don't hold it against me

Patrick Roy's sweater gets retired tonight...and after the beating the bruins handed my habs last week i can't wait to see if they fucking wake up or not.

Yea, he drops guys that are small and arent known fighters... but look at him run from Orr and Laraque... if he wants to head hunt and intentionally hurt people, let him step up to the plate against guys that can stand up for their teammates.

Sharks play the Caps in their new 3rd jerseys.

Posted by L.E.N. on Nov-23-2008 19:33:

Sharks stomp the caps with a ton of goals from different players.7-2. Sharks are now 17-3-1 with 35 points. The new 3rds look great too. Gotta wait til the 26th to see them play again and Nabokov will be in the net. Once Mitchell gets well its going to be
full strength.

lol, Brashear is a beast... Id love to see Laraque and Brashear square off.

Posted by L.E.N. on Nov-24-2008 03:35:

High Hit, Mike Mottau on Frans Neilsen

Posted by Vlad on Nov-24-2008 23:58:

Leafs trade for Stempniak... giving up Steen and Colaiacovo... good move for the Leafs. Stempniak is good player, and they got rid of a C to make room for.... wait for it.... Sundin.

Claude Lemieux?
