sez on there that the hire price includes carts and slipmats, but i would recommend asking what these carts are, so we know whether or not to get different ones.

also, i have an insurance enquiry for u neo

mat has a pdx2000, i would like at least one vestax there as the ultra pitch is an exremely handy tool in my sets, especially when techs only go to +/-8.. will this be covered by the club's insurance if we take it and use it? or will we have to insure it independantly?

were now in april, so its now too late to hold it in april.

we should look at may now, but try our hardest to not go over GC nights (as everyone we want there, especially loads of ppl i know and have got to come, will go to GC instead)

so, saturdays in may are as follows: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st

mayday GC is on the 4th, so theoretically the 3rd should be ok, but as thats very near to the start of the month it would be unlikely that we could get flyers out in time. i think we should concentrate on the end of the month, 31st to be precise

thoughts?

Im new to this post but heard bits and bobs about... who's DJing so far then, and is everyone invited down? Cos im up to support anyone there as well as a few mates who are into trance etc. be class!

Who's in charge? Or is everyone just filling in ideas? 2 new trance nights, well sort of established now is filth at takapuna's on west st. and touched at zero. Both seem to be quite dead, which is a shame to say the least. But im hoping trance will be back in shef like it used to.

Anyway i can help out?

i reckon 31st may or mid june would be the best bet if its possible! that would give plenty of time to get flyers/posters out etc and enough time for everything else to get sorted, like travel etc

Oh just as a note end of may is a bad time for a lot of people coz of uni and college exams so start of may or early june it will have to be at the earliest now it is looking and it is seriously just gettin put back month by month.

In May, the only time crasher isnt on is the weekend of the 10th and 11th of May. Crasher will be out biggest rival in business terms so i think holding it on a friday or saturday night with crasher on the same weekend isnt wise.

If that means we dont get May then we dont get May, id rather wait till June if we have to, get more punters in and have a fully sucessful night with the chance of a second attempt, than bang it out in direct competetion with crasher and have an end result not half as good.
