Posted by Fran666 on Apr-29-2010 02:08:

first time in history that a team in 8th place wins series after trailing 3-1 against a team in first place.

quote from a caps forum

"I actually believe the hype built around a potential loss. It would be the worst loss the franchise has suffered, given the point differential between the clubs, expectations, the franchise's first President's Trophy. Would that be the worst loss ever? Yup. "

Great game!

Halak should be the next spokesperson in a condom commercial.

GO HABS GO!

Posted by jester on Apr-29-2010 02:46:

Halak so far #2 (0.939 SV%) goaltender in the playoffs. #1 (0.940 SV%) is Brian Boucher for the Flyers.

Posted by kanaBEATya on Apr-29-2010 03:18:

thank you for winning. sti.

Posted by OkiDokie on Apr-29-2010 05:20:

St Cath is pure madness

Halak for prime minister, what a fucking game

Posted by devnull on Apr-29-2010 12:08:

look at Ovi's interview after the game! the cockyness is GONE! lol sobbing baby

Posted by ChemEnhanced on Apr-29-2010 12:19:

The key to their win last night wasn't Halak...it was shot blocking. 41 blocked shots is just stupid crazy.

Hal Gill for deputy mayor. Imagine that

some ex-Leafs still going strong in playoffs:

Gill
Poni
Rask
Wellwood
Moore
with Raycroft and May as spare parts (for now)

I am not the biggest fan of the game but I watched a little. I am happy for you guys and happy for the city of Montreal.

One note - Semin, they said he was good player. He did not live up to his great skills and last name don't you think?

Posted by Marcus007 on Apr-30-2010 00:13:

i think you're thinking of semen not SEMIN

THERE IS A PROGRESSION IN THOSE SMILEYS

Posted by Spin Laden on Apr-30-2010 00:51:

alt is no fan of hockey but can spell Semin, hmmmm.

Next series should be interesting. Ottawa gave Pittsburgh all it could handle and Sens were without some key players and have nowhere near the goaltending Halak supplies, let alone the production from the blueline and team speed that Mtl has.

They have to get under Crosby's skin big time, however. This is time for Gill to stick it to his old team.

Posted by KrinKer on Apr-30-2010 01:12:

Ok quick questin

IF the habs beat the PInguins ... does that mean they'll be going all the way ?

I propose a new bilingual sign everyone agrees on understanding.
