lol. no i thought OUR GAMES was meant in a sense that Canada would dominate on their own turf. but having lived in Toronto, i was actually rooting for Canada to beat the US in hockey- needless to say i was not impressed.

i never said that they are doing horrible. it is the russian media saying that. since russia is hosting the next games, they want to be on top of the standings. also they weren't beating canada 2 days ago. (when i wrote the original post)

I must admit I was cheering pretty loudly for the swiss. They really impressed me with the way they played in this tournament. Considering 3 of 5 games were one point games and you could easily say that this game was a one goal game....anything could have happened.

The atmosphere surrounding the hockey game is huge!

I totally thought this game was tomorrow and booked the second half of my work day off...

Now I'm stuck at work watching the live updates page becasue I can't download the fucking "HD software" required, and i can't find another live, or slightly behind stream that doesn't require software download.

It's a bit of a blow that the motherland isn't doing too hot shit in the first period... hopefully they pick it up.
