didja try the Gardein brand stuff yet? the Chick'n Scallopini are good with some teryaki sauce at the end after you brown them in a pan...the tuscan breast thing is AMAZEBALLS and the beef cubes are excellent for soups/chilli/stew, etc--my meat friends said the beef ones freaked em out b/c they're so close in texture when cooked properly.

Wait, at the establishments? That would be great.

The new menu item, called Garden Blend, is made by the company Gardein. According to Gardein, their plant-based meat substitute is made from soy, wheat and pea proteins, vegetables and ancient grains (quinoa, amaranth, millet and kamut). What an awesome addition to Chipotles short but sweet menu!

This new Garden Blend hasnt been introduced at all Chipotle locations yet
Wheat protein doesn't sound particularly gluten-free.

I had a salmon cake for dinner. It was awesome. I had salmon the night before, and I had salmon on thursday too.
Fish is good. Plus have you ever looked at a fish? They look retarded. I have no problem with retards being culled.
Also thats one of those posts where Lews is probably just liek "wtf man..."

as per usual with anything Tom Green, that was the most retarded thing I've ever seen.
only exception to Tom Green is his "daddy would you like some sausage" meats on strings thing in that one movie...

Originally posted by ziptnf It must be regional. Avocados are 10/$10 at my local Kroger. Nice and bright green on the inside, also! The Rainbow Blossom is right down the street and they are supposed to be all local/all natural but their avocados are brownish-green and gross on the inside

Originally posted by AMMORA well Haas avocados are supposed to be extremely dark green when ripe and ready to eat and have the rough skin, thats what I find mostly over here and they taste the best...you might have the cali ones if they're bright green and have the smooth skin--they're generally harder and don't ripen once they're picked which is why they sell em cheap :-P

Originally posted by ziptnf They're all Haas variety, but the Kroger ones usually need a day or two before you can cut them open. They're always smooth and delicious, but the ones from Rainbow Blossom just taste overripe and weird.

Originally posted by AMMORA i've had some naaaasty ones that were just rotten completely--always annoys me b/c i'll buy one, take my time picking it out, think i have a good one based on smell/feel and then cut that baby open to find it black and stringy-ewww...and i paid like $2 for it and its not like you can return an avocado..
