fixed.

The Celtics fans and their players are all a bunch of cry babies. Ray Allen was crying over another "foul" with Wade that was barely even a foul. I love Ray Allen's game, but he is a straight up infant when it comes to anything even remotely close to physical play. As was proved tonight, KG and Rondo are the only relevant players on the Cs who aren't soft.

And of course we had to see Paul Pierce have his ankle looked at after falling into the cameramen, when you could plainly see nothing at all could have happened to his ankle. That guy loves to make people think that he's playing through injuries that never happened.

Not happy at all with the Heat's effort last night. They played one quarter of playoff basketball.

That's not going to cut it.

True, but they're still up 2-1, and will have at least 2 more games in Miami. Imo, they should shift Wade onto Pierce, Lebron on to KG, and have Chalmers/Bibby on Ray Allen, and then have Anthony on Big Baby or Shaq. Anthony, as good as he's been, has been showing he's just not athletic enough to guard KG man to man.

They need to neutralize the Celtics down low and they'll be fine. Turn them into a jump shooting team and this series is done.

Pat Riley needs to touch base with you. He and Spolestra clearly need this kind of basketball acumen.

Look at the first 2 games. KG didn't even go to the line once in the first 2 games and was essentially a non-factor.

Your thinly veiled sarcasm is clearly just a response to me calling Celtics fans babies. Thank you for proving my point.

Just imagine if the Mavs pull off the most epic choke ever and the Lakers become the first NBA team ever to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

would be incredible, but very unlikely

WOW

Posted by infinity HiGH on May-08-2011 20:14:

This is ridiculous. 5 straight 3's by Terry; Dallas is 9-9 overall from beyond the arc.

I'm actually feeling bad for the Lakers.

MAVS BENCH = 40

ENTIRE LAKERS TEAM = 39

Pack your bags Lakers. It's gonna be a long flight home.

lol... no it's just funny to watch you offer up all the strategy and game breakdowns like you're a former coach working for ESPN.

I'm not sweating the comments about Boston players or fans. Everyone says the same thing about teams and fans they don't like.

Haha I admit I haven't played basketball aside from pick up games, but imo my strategy would totally work

Also it's all relative for Boston players/fans. I, for instance, am a die hard Sox fan, but I absolutely hate the Pats, Bruins, and Celtics. I'm not sure why. I guess it was going to school in NY with all of the obnoxious Yankees fans, but I've loved the Red Sox ever since I can remember.

I was indroctinated from birth with Sox/Celts since I was born up there. It was during the heart of the Bird era too. I moved to FL when I was 9 and didn't get into football till around 12-13 years old... So my football teams are Tampa for pro and Florida State for college (since I went there). I also have no love for the Pats or Bruins (I'm not into hockey anyway).

LA quitting like in game 7 of the 2008 finals.

Das sweep, ja?

Posted by igottaknow on May-08-2011 21:25:

The Lakers get swept how sweet is that. I'm a Celtics fan but its looking like Heat/Bulls vs Mav/OK

Posted by srussell0018 on May-08-2011 21:32:

Hey Kevin, did you see that little stat they showed about the 4 players who have ever averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds per game in the playoffs? Guess who was one of them

Edit: Wow, I don't think there's a more classless team in the NBA than the Lakers. At least Odom doesn't have to watch the rest of this huge embarrassing failure.

Jesus, Bynum should get a suspension for next season for that. Unbelievable.

Posted by jupiterone on May-08-2011 21:37:

what a pathetic team. they don't know how to lose, don't deserve shit from this series. what a pathetic showcase. sore losers

Posted by srussell0018 on May-08-2011 21:38:

I've always hated Bynum, but I never really knew why. I always thought it was because he was so soft. Now I know why.
