Watched Ladder 49 on Foxtel last night. What a great flick! Hot guys, drama, love, fire, hot guys.

yeah the actors were on fire in some of those scenes!

lol@Philby hahahahahaa

Saw Silent Hill on the weekend and I was quite impressed. Compared to the shitty big budget horrors like 'the grudge' and the 'ring' this one held true to the genre, with just enough tension and release to keep you entertained to the end.. It held true to the games which I thoroughly enjoyed on my PS2 (thats right pkc you PC ******), and I think the scenes were very well done.. Be sure to look out for the scene where they rip the bitch limb by limb.

For Transformers fans you can grab a copy of the Transformers: The Movie DVD. Bargain!
clickety.
i saw miami vice on the weekend, it is a massive let down. going from the trailor it has to be one of the most misleading movies. the action scenes are lame and there is no suspense. also for a supposed drug movie you dont even get to see any drugs wtf???
there was way too much time devoted to the bullshit love interests that colin farrell and jamie foxx had. i hate it when movie studios try to compromise an action movie by having a love story angle to attract chicks.

^^ haha. the indignant surprise in your post makes me laugh
hahaha.
Saw United 93 on friday night.
As I am reading the 9/11 Commission Report (well I have started) I knew all of the details of what happened on the plane so I guess I was a little bored. It was still quite moving and had me sobbing for all parties involved
primer.
im not sure if you have to be a nerd to like this one, but i bet it helps. beat out napolean dynamite & garden state at the sundance film festival.
anywayz, as long as not understanding what the fuck is going on half the time doesnt bother you, then this is an excellent excellent film.
low-budget, high concept.
explores the somewhat darker side of human nature- what would you do if you had the ultimate power?
heavy on the tech-speak, but i enjoyed that. still, id like to watch it again to make sure i grasped everything properly the first time. very clever, and the way in which they deal with causality and time was excellent.

seeing 2:37 tonight.. hope it wont add to tuesday blues
Snakes On A Plane
Yes, as stupid as it sounds but still funny. Loved how they took things to the extreme, and surprisingly it did have a *thin* storyline, more than I expected
Some scenes were hillarious and I noticed about halfway through the movie about half the cinema had their feet up on the seats... so if you have a fear of snakes I wouldn't see it unless you want nightmares

"american dreamz"
hugh grant, mandy moore
well, unfortunately for me mandy isnt the cute and sweet character we all fell in love with in "a walk to remember" but even as a superficial selfish bitch she's still stunning to look at. theres something rather comforting in watching such caricatures of women on screen though, it lends itself to our more misogynistic side, even though we know its only a movie.
this is hardly really subtle and clever stuff, but it still has a lot of laughs. the middle-east political backdrop to the "american idol" mockery is obvious but still amusing.
itd get an extra half-star if mandy hadve ditched the blonde for brunette, but you cant have everything i guess.
"well, they dont call me 'the torturer' because i dont like torturing"

but anyone is outweighed by mandy! surely i get hetero points for that? dammit!

Saw Lady in the Water
Mainly because it's a M. Night Shyamalan film.... it';s a bit of a glorified fairytale but not too bad, few laughs, few scary creatures
