Posted by InterMilan31 on Jan-06-2005 08:03:

So some Jan transfer news:

Moratti keen on bringin Giggs to Milan
Karagounis wanted by Boro,Benfica and PSG

Im sorry but Giggs? The guy is way too old and now is out for 6 weeks with a hamstring pull. No thanks!

When are Inter going to learn its defenders that they need and they need youth. Pazzani from Atalanta, Bresicano from Parma, Esposito from Cagliari, Bonera from Parma. These people young and promising players!!!

Also Parma looks in trouble again. Frey, Gilardino and Bonera all set to leave in the summer probably. Ouch thats gotta hurt.

I dont see why Inter wants all these midfielders.....as much as i like Giggs hes too old and Inters deep enough in the middle of the pitch..... and on the topic of Giggs and Man U i cant believe how badly Tottenham got screwed the only team i follow in England is Tottenham....and then they get screwed and get a win taken away from one of the teams i hate the most arrrg i hate Man U i hope Inter plays them in the CL and beats the hell outta them

Posted by InterMilan31 on Jan-06-2005 18:32:

Eddie I think I just might.

Inter 2 Livorno 0

First match of 2005. Very pleased with result since Juve tied. Milan won though.

Now up is the Roma Derby!

Posted by noikeee on Jan-06-2005 21:48:

Ok i know this is a Inter thread not a Serie A thread, but possibly you Inter fans have reasons to complain after the amount of red cards both Lazio and Roma somehow managed to avoid.

A. Filippini was moaning to the ref every 5 seconds he didn't make an harsh tackle, Di Canio made an excellent job of preparing possible post-match incidents by celebrating and provocating Roma fans like he had just won the champions league - 5 minutes before the game ended, Aquilani managed to tackle a player from each team at the same time when the ball had left the place 5 seconds ago, and Totti kicked a Lazio defender without ball when he already had an yellow card. 9 yellow cards, no reds. That was so fun to watch.

Great assists by Liverani though

gaettaaaaaaano gaettaaaaaaaaano

Posted by InterMilan31 on Jan-07-2005 07:27:

paranoik I hate both of the Roman clubs but I think that with the past matches being so bad and the trouble with the Roman fans this year the refs were probably scared to show a red or something. Ugly game like normal and ugly supporters!!!

I swear Inter is crazy. Down 2-0 to Sampdoria who played so well, then Inter play like they actually want it and wins 3-2.

It's good thing for a team to have depth, like Martins and Recoba.

Entertaining game.

For those who listen to the Inter matches on online stream radio, you will know who Roberto Scarpini is. If you dont he is the comentator for all the Inter matches.

Check out his commentary of the 3 goals in a row scored.

Um why??

Anyways here are the best prospects:

Isah Eliakwu - Loaned out but according to some people he has the speed of martins the finishing of Vieri and the skill of Adriano

Dino Marino - Good mid-fielder probably will become a Pirlo type will be coming off the bench for Inter probably next year if he is not loaned out

Carl Valeri - Austrailian international and incredible talent, dubbed the Aussie-Italian Kewell but more consistant

Hernan Paolo Dellafiore - Argentina borned but Italy U-21 international. Good Defender with the talent to become a Cordoba type

Ianis Zicu - Romanian talented forward/att mid loaned out to Parma, even though he is young he could be a bench player for Inter already

Theres some other guys on the Primavera squad that are talented that we got this summer, dont know much about them yet. 2 guys from Paris and Guilherme from Brazil. Most of the forwards with exception of Eliakwu and Zicu are talented enough to become good forwards for lower Serie A clubs, would like to see them succeed though as most of our youth talent is non-italian.

AC Milan has a great youth team(Milan(Inter&AC) youth teams are real good I think) Nicola something is quite a talent, really like him and pulsar probably knows more about him then me.
