^^^LOL...you sure its not just plain jealousy of them beating your team coz i , and im sure in not alone in this, find A.C. Milan to be one very attractive team - probably the most attractive in the Serie A. Their style of play is so graceful (except for Gattuso..lol) and built like a tree diagram...branching out frmo Pirlo to the full-backs and Kaka to the forwards

That being said...i'd like Lyon to go through coz i have a sneaky suspicion that Lyon will beat Barca in the semi's...yes i know that sounds crazy but it just seams destined for them to reach the finals in their home country...before Henry and the Gunners steal the show!!

Fiorentina's offence is play longball to Toni and see what he does with it. I love Viola, but it's so predictable!

PS: Henry = best striker in the world.

About hour and half until kickoff!

There is no curling or some shit like that for TSN to feck this up with, right?

Posted by Aitizaz on Apr-04-2006 17:42:

^^LOL no the schedule says they are showing A.C. vs Lyon at 2:30

Posted by Yohan on Apr-04-2006 20:41:

Oh no!

So gutted. Milan 3-1 Lyon

Should have been the other way around, but when you don't put away Milan when you had the chances, well, you pay the price often.

PS: What the heck has Inzaghi been smoking lately?

Also Villareal 1-0 Inter

Crazy

Fucking milan gets lucky one more time. So much for my prediction of Lyon winning the whole thing. But hey, when the tournament started, nobody even knew who da fuck lyon was. And i still think they are a better team and only if they had Juninho for the first leg, things would have been different. Plus lucky goal with only 3 minutes to go sealed it for milan, other wise with 1-1, Lyon was going through. You could tell they were just trying to play defense and hold off milan, but i find that in soccer, you should always play your game, going all back will haunt you in the end. Plus they were missing Tiago too and he's their top 3 players. But whatever, they lost, no excuses.

All spanish final now??? possibility but let's all hope Arsenal wins a well deserved tournament, after all, they have been the best team in it even though barca + milan are better teams. Knocking off Real Madrid + Juve back to back, you deserve to win it in my books!

^^ Blah. looks like it's ESPND for me if I want to see Barca's game live. That means I'll have to take an "extended lunch"... Ah the sacrifices for this beautiful game.

milan plays barca next round (unless benfica somehow pulls it off @ nou camp) and arsenal takes on villareal. and arsenal is not a cindarella team of this tournament, it's actually villareal. arsene wenger stated at the beginning of the season that champions league is his main tournament this year and not premiership b/c champions is the only one he hasn't won yet. even though the team is young and is not top 5 clubs in the world, their tactics and style of football and the way they move the ball from goal line up the field is tremendous to watch, plus henry on top of his game is probably the best striker in the world. fabregas is also a great player with so much control in the midfield, he took patrik viera to school for sake! Arsenal is on top of their game right now, 2-0 over juve and 5-0 in a rout over aston villa. It will not be easy to beat villareal, who knocked off both english giants in Man U + Liverpool, but Arsenal is a different team @ Highbury, thus Arsenal vs Barca final in my books.

Posted by Aitizaz on Apr-05-2006 16:41:

Cmon THE GUNNERS!!!

should be another cracker tonight...Juve are gonna bombard the arsenals defense with long balls and plenty of attacking runs from their midfielders....but i suspect a 1-1 draw would be the final score.

As for Barca...they shd def go thru now as they r playing at home and will not miss sitters like they did in the first leg

Posted by TRANCEEEE on Apr-05-2006 16:49:

Vs.

Damn
good faking teams ...

I agree as well. Barca vs Arsenal looks like the most likely final.

As to who would win in that match? i don't know. I would have said Barca a while ago but after watching recent Arsenal matches ... eeek..not sure anymore.
