not quite ... lets save that for the moment that we overtake chelsea before the season is over

the victory over arsenal was amazing but i still havent figured out why henry was benched for this one

on a negative note, 2 incidents have come up which will not be taken well by the public

rooney seems to be relishing spending his hard earned wealth in all the wrong places and it has ended with him having a gambling debt of 700,000 pounds and rumour has it that most of that money is owed to a business associate of michael owen's that has created a rift among the english squad

and not surprisingly, the club made an announcement today that the price of season tickets for next year will be increased from between 8-16%. No doubt this is going to create speculation among the media that more price hikes are on their way. fukin stoopid glazer

Bolton manager Sam Allardyce:
"We're facing the champions on the back of four defeats.
"The odds are stacked against us against Chelsea and we need a mini-miracle on Saturday. "

inspiring confidence from the gaffer then . Ur dead.

It's called playing up to the press. If you look at some of our biggest results, he's been like this, ask Mr Wenger, Ferguson in 2001 and many more. It's mindgames, when we go into a game not expecting to do anything, we generally do better, our problem this year has been when teams come & sit back & do nothing, for us to break them down.

i always thought big sam was more of a "tell it how it is" kind of manager, great gaffer but never really gonna outwit the likes of mourinho.

i respect Bolton for what they are, and definatly not a hater, but everything just points to a chelsea victory tomorrow. last weeks display, utd crumbling, drogba even in form. just cant see you getting anything from the game.

I think the fact is that nobody expects us to beat chelsea. why would sam come out & say 'we'll win' the pressure that would put on would be way too much, reverse psychology is one of his traits, and is kinda what england need at times, which is why I push him for the job, it's getting over the mental barrier and realising that however good they are, its 11 men vs 11 men. I'd normally say we won't get anything, but we often end runs in unexpected places, and the law of averages means its more likely to be tomorrow than even against west brom on monday. Silly logic maybe but I think it could happen. we'll see

Posted by Cloud on Apr-15-2006 05:28:

That was one of our worst results this season.
We were a bit unlucky tho but come'on it was Sunderland , we could beat them 4-0.

Our last hope gone.
