nnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what people should realize is that not everyone under the age of 30 isn't a stupid idiot that will destroy everything in the house. Were responsible people, did anything break or happen at the last party cuz i don't remember anything.

This really sucks....oh well...my back up plan of Ultra Spin is still looking good...plus a couple other Florida TAs will be there

The new cottage is run by PRIVATE owners, unlike the last one that was on a rental board agency.

The ups of this? We only deal with these people. We have been in contact with them, telling them we will be having a large gathering. The max amount of sleeping that the cottage holds is 18 people, and they know it will be max. They have said this is fine, and are ready to book. They have had family reunions, office groups and wedding parties at this cottage. Now because of this, we will have way more leverage than before, to have a party free of interruptions, and the party WE want.

Posted by bourgeois on Jan-13-2006 23:00:

it's only one floor though right

Posted by Playa24_7 on Jan-13-2006 23:11:

This is just the backup plan. If all else fails.

We are checking out other places though, with the same things stated above, making sure things are known to the cottage owners beforehand. Obviously we would like a cottage where the decore, and appliances are decent, such as nadas cottage. Regardless, bare with us.

We will give updates, no worrys

OK this is good news. Because when I read that post this morning, I was very disheartened. And really felt as if shit would be a bust!

I am glad to hear that things are looking up and no one is throwing the towel in.

I commend you both. Thank you. It's appreciate from this end, I assure you.

Damn. FAHAD< I hope you're keeping appraised of the changes.

im still praying to the universe for a solution to work out for all of us!

Posted by Jem_hadar on Jan-14-2006 03:38:

There's still good hope on the horizon...

OK, this is all hypothetical and unconfirmed,

But I *just* remembered/recalled that my dad actually rents out his employer's chalet for him, it's one of his jobs, to rent it out...

Anyways, it's right up there on the mountain (Blue Mountain)... close to where the last one was.... Grey Road 19 needs to be taken! (<<<< hahahah Jay! )

I just had my dad email me some pics of it... looks like it could work, I'm not sure if I think its bigger/smaller than the last one. I know it sleeps 10 ppl, has a full kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. And... heheh, no septic, its on a sewer system!

Convincing my father to do it would be the only issue... and I dont necessarily think it would be that hard... so long as he trusts that I'm not gonna wreck it by throwing a "rave party". He knows that it'll likely involve a large-ish group of ppl/friends... but he prolly thinks its around the 10-25 mark though..

His only real concern I think is that we'll destroy it (damage appliances, the walls maybe, etc.). Or that we'll leave it such a state/mess that he'll hafta pay to have a cleaner crew come in to fix it, which costs money $$$.

As far as I know, every whent smoothly for Ali and Nada upon check out with their cottage back in August, I mean we all fucking made sure to clean that place up when we left as a group; it was great! ... and though we like to have our fun, we're all very respectable of things and I really dont think or foresee that this would be an issue.

So, yea, pretty much I'm seeing if I can score this cottage for the weekend. I'm going to be talking to Barry and Dan about it all, and we'll see where it goes -- I know they have other opinions on the go too apparently... so we'll see what happens...

Also with here, if any fools wanted to go skiing, we're right there at the mountain... so it's close. And Collingwood again is only 2 hours north out of Toronto... plus for those who are coming who came last time, yall (HOPEFULLY) know the way now!

That's all for now. Cheers ppl.

Jem
