Of course he's not playing deep tribal anymore. He's a whore and would rather play something that is "in fashion" than his own musical taste !!

I loved his scary, chilling tribal too but his chuggy minimal and electro will still move that floor. He's one of the few djs (imo) that has gotten away from his trademark genre of house and still able to drop some serious sets.

second set is from my workout folder, great for striated glutes

Lawler is better than ever in my opinion. Lights Out 1 CD2 was a real eye opener for me, it was an amazing CD and it wasn't tribal at all. He went a little tribal afterwards but It was never is main hook.

What he plays today is simply amazing. WAY better than what he did since Lights Out 1. Track list of is new Viva London CD 2 sounds killer.

Yea, you're right. Lawler actually takes the time and looks for fresh new tracks from talented new artists *gasp* (I know...shocking ).

This is contrary to the 'other' artists (eg. armin, ferry, tijs and all their foot-kissers) who are relying on 'classic' tracks from a decade ago and play songs from artists that were last good a decade ago.

Posted by Spin Laden on Oct-17-2007 01:06:

TA source told me once that Audiofly feeds him his tracks..regardless, Audiofly rocks so if true that's another reason Lawler rocks too

Posted by Enjoy on Oct-17-2007 01:11:

You mean produce for him?

Posted by Spin Laden on Oct-17-2007 01:26:

no, probably just track selection. You're a Lawlerian..what's the verdict?

Posted by Ravemontreal on Oct-17-2007 01:31:

Comon, maybe Audiofly helps produce (that's why some releases says S.L.A.A.F) but I am sure he can pick his tracklist himself. lol

Posted by Enjoy on Oct-17-2007 01:32:

oh, in that case def... Audiofly and Lawler are good buddies afaik, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets new shit from them.

Sweet! How long are you planning on staying here?
I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to Resolution or not, but we should definitely hang out while you're here!
Is Wai coming as well?

Yeah but that was space , all these guys know when they hit montreal there is a different expectation...at least they should know that!

I have heard Max Graham live at heaven several times with his painful electro sound effect crap and then his sets with all kinds of weird stuff in his mix.... then i hear the same guy as resolution 07 and it was mind-blowing....I couldn't believe it was Max...

No electro.....no experimental bullshit...just true massive sounds...dark progressive / tech house.....why?!?! ....because he played for the crowd not for him...

As long as Lawler does the same ( and this applies to everyone who plays there ) then he will be magnificant!
