It's only sad if your looking for the big commercial acts at the big commercial venues or you are looking to relive past WMC experiences.. There are plenty of really good shows with Topnotch underground talent this year (If you know what to look for)..

Looks like alot of people in here will sleep on some of the better shows musically simply because they've never heard of the acts..

Open your minds people.. Step out of your Space, Mansion, Nikki Beach, beatport bubbles... Check out some of the lesser known quality acts at small intimate venues.. You'll have save a ton of money & maybe even be turned on to something new...

big big acts havent still been announced: guetta/deadmau5/axwell/above & beyond/kyau & albert/tiefschwarz/andy moor/adam freeland/bob sinclar/schulz/sander van doorn/thrillseekers/blank and jones/menno/o callaghan to name a fewwww

i think you missed the point. i say its sad simply because wmc has always been about variety. this year it seems to be way too one sided. most years theres always been something for everyone. this year its way too dominated by minimal/techno/tech-house, and while this pleases a lot of people on this board, some are being left out. the great thing about wmc is that no matter what you're into, you can find it. but that doesnt seem to be the case this year. so just because you or other people are happy, and some of us arent, doesnt mean those folks that are arent happy have to step out of our "bubbles." thats a pretty retarded mindset, and i hope you realize that.

doorn isnt coming. as well some others im sure. so i think thats the culmination of a lot of animosity here since eddie halliwell, eric prydz, and marco v also arent, as well as no sander on the terrace and what not.

Deadmau5 on the terrace big no no from me. I personally don't like his sets. They go no where. His productions are nice though some of them.

Well at least we have TIESTORS! OMG TIESOTORS EPIC 6 HOUR SET @ Mansions or Liv going to be best party of WMC trance is saved still!

6 hour set? whered you get that idea from? itll be more like 3 hours for $100.

So that means no other party!!! at least with his name on the flyer/tickets.....

no cox/mouse/tiesto...im not a fan of tiesto but i know alot of people coem to see him and would be crushed by this...

thats really really crappy mixed with prydz and svd and all the others...

ummm... ultra said that on last years flyer too and he still played mansion. dont count him out on mansion or liv and the opportunity to bank.

Thats a HUGE breach of contract, I don't know how that happens. I am going to find the flyer now, I know he was a surprise guest at Karu & Y one WMC but I am sure he wasn't exclusive when he played mansion.

I am friends with Booka Shade and they are not going to be promoted as playing the Get Physical party because they are exclusive to Ultra..

i remember seeing "exclusive" somewhere before. maybe i was wrong.

i would actually be surprised if tiesto doesnt have his own night. first time in how many years?

Yeah I was REALLY surprised on how many "exclusive" acts were on the ultra flyer... It sucks

Can't see how he'd pass on a night to charge 100+ and play for three hours. Just not like him. And I'm not a Tiesto hater by any means, I thought his set at Ultra last year was really solid.
