i had fruity loops for a little bit, but i didnt really like it. i didnt really explore enough with it and i had not been into trance for that long. fruity loops can either be extremely power, or extremely craptacular (as can ANY software). I would recommend Reason 2, it is what i use. just experiment. i have heard a bunch about Buzz recently, any comments on that?

Tried it once, it crashed after 10 minutes of use.
Haven't touched it since.

It's pretty powerful, though. And free.
