You gotta admit, Belfour played a really hard game. The Flyers outshot the Leafs two-fold. For Belfour to make 72 saves that night shows that Toronto's Defense isn't holding up. Half of the Leafs offensive goals came from Mogilny.

Someone please tell me, Does that make the Leafs a Stanley Cup contender? A goalie definitly needs defensive and offensive help every now and then.

Then what about the Ducks? Giguere almost single handedly won the series for Anaheim. All he did was sweep the Red Wings. The Ducks played Defense first philosphy. The Wings were frustrated and every mistake they made, the Ducks were able to capitalize on. That's what won them the game. Some one tell me I'm wrong. I'd like to hear your take on this.

Any team in the playoffs I think is still a legitimate contender in the cup race; stranger things have happened before I'm sure. As for the Anaheim - Wings series, Giguere was unquestionably the difference but the Ducks' defense didn't hurt either. It just goes to show that defense can win... I just wish that the Penguins could realize that and change their philosophy for next season. Let Mario retire, he's no longer useful anyway in my opinion.

With the way things are going right now, it looks like the West will see these 4 teams advance.

1]Dallas
3]Colorado
5]St Louis
7]Anaheim

Meanwhile in the east, two series are tied 2-2. The fate of one series determines the fate of the other. There is no doubt in my mind that...

1]Ottawa
2]New Jersey

...will be getting all the rest they need. One will get the easier opponent, the other will get the hard checking, gritty, blood-thirsty opponent. Should be an interesting result. Can't wait!

The Leafs seriously suck! They are never a Stanley Cup contender. The hockey gods won't allow for that again! LET'S GO FLYERS!!!

Giguere is amazing in Round 1, but it won't carry into the next round. Too hard to stay that hot!

If Vancouver or Edmonton can't recover, I feel sorry for the Blues as my Avs will roll all over them!

All I have to say is ROFL

Lightning strikes again as they finally win one at home. Their third straight win over the Caps. One more and they're off to play the Devils while the winner of the Leafs-Flyers matchup gets Ottawa.

The Nucks' finally show some scoring from their top line. If they keep on doing this, they'll take the Blues in 7. Hope the Oilers force a game 7 against the Stars.

Can't wait to see the Leafs-Flyers game!!! Should be great!

I never expected the Wings to get swept by the Ducks, I have to say damn, if they play like that thru the whole playoffs it will be hard for any team to stop them. Devils aren`t bad either, they took care of Bruins quite easily. I hope Stars win tonite in edmonton.

Well they finished off the Capitals, thankfully but they will have their hands full in their next series with the Devils. One series in the East left to be decided, Toronto & Philly... If Toronto wins this series I'm confident they can get past Ottawa, but if it's the Flyers I'm not so sure; look what happened to them last year against the Sens..

Are you kidding me. The Flyers will kill both the Leafs and the Sens. It'll be the Flyers and the Devils for the Eastern Finals.

Meanwhile, the Stars and the Ducks will battle it out in the 2nd round. I'm supporting the Ducks but the Stars have too much firepower and will move on playing the Avs, who in turn will beat the winner of the Nucks'-Blues series.

Come on Avs, enough of this Game 7 bullsh*t! Just dispatch the Wild and move on to kill the Canucks/Blues!

Hmmm, this will be a very interesting night. we have a total of three game 7's in hand. Toronto stayed alive for one more game. Minnesota surprised me, big time. Vancouver's top line is finally showing how they play hockey.

Just one question that bothers me though. Why does everyone hate the Leafs? I've been rooting for the Flyers only to find out that the Leafs are just another hockey team wearing different uniforms. Sure my Kings knocked them off in 1993. But they never did shit to me. Why do I hate the Leafs? It must be that natural addiction that I have. One things for sure is that if CUJO was in goal for the Leafs, they'd be outta there by now.

Why do I hate the Avs? Why do I hate the Blues? Cuz they made the Kings suffer in recent years and gave me some type of disease. LOL! You guys out there know who I'm rooting for tonight. Enjoy the games.

Canucks totally dominated the game after the blues scored the first goal...

the blues just looked tired and had no spirit in their game...

but nevertheless... canucks still played very well and i would say it was one of the most entertaining canucks hockey i've seen in a while

lol i misread what u said. u went i might and i read it as "it read" anyhow we r advancing and we have an easy oppenent. we have burtuzzi who just dominates physically. did u see people whta he did to their defence throughout like 4 games? he fuckin made them sore. every fuckin defenceman got punished by him. it was unbelievable to watch. 260 pound bertuzzi just belting on and on. i fuckin love this guy. even though he didnt score much this series he simply dominated. amazing. watch him break out againt minnesota for sure. anyway the whole canuck team rules and will our bringing the cup to vancouver.
