) that allowed him to come to power and stay in power. Now they are basically cleaning up the mess that they made in the first place. The downfall of Saddam (the end), doesn't justify the means (war), though. And the fact that they are costing thousands of lives to clean up this mess in no way justifies their right to govern a liberated Iraq. I almost voted for Bush in 2000 (shame on me) because he was claiming that he whould take America's ass out of foreign affairs, such as this. I can see that was an obvious lie. The saddest thing of all, though, is that our soldiers who are risking their lives cleaning up the mess get practically nothing out of it, while sociopathic business owners get to reap the profits unfetteredly.
