Panasonic SV-SD50

ZDNet Review
The SV-SD50 is a simple, easy-to-operate MP3 player with great sound and excellent battery life. Panasonic includes some measure of copyright protection, but you hardly even notice it. Unfortunately, the SD50's slick design and decent performance don't make up for the lack of a belt clip and RealOne's annoying file-transfer software.

MD is a nice middle ground between CD's and MP3 players IMHO though, small media, decent capacity, and good sound quality.
Right now I'm stuck with a standard Panasonic CD discman, which is barely adequate and was bought in pure desperation for a long flight (TO to Paris last summer...)
I'd like to get a huge I-Pod for my next portable, but I don't know if I can justify spending that much on portable audio...I like having a portable, but I don't use it enough to make a really expensive option worth it.

not if u got a good minidisk net recorder.. the data transfer via your pc is awesome.. i think it takes me about 10-15 mins to put a 2 hour emix onto md, now dont tell me thats not good, plus a cd is even quicker and the sound quality is 10/10
I don't know, I'm just not very fond of HDMp3 players, and MD don't suit my taste.
I don't know how "protected" is the HD. I mean. you could drop it and ruin it. Or get damaged at some random occasion. Whereas in mp3-cd players you can service it or sth with no big expenses(I think
). Plus, how am I going to play my audio cds
I'm sure I'm not going to be in any mood for transferring audio cds to mp3s->Hdmp3pLaye.
And correct me if I'm wrong(I'm not well aware of the prices in market)but, HDmp3 lpayers are more expensive than mp3-cdplayer ones.
That's a bit off-topic,but do you know any decent mp3-cdplayer with intergrated Fmradio tuner e.t.c.??
Riovolt SP100 // MP3 CD Discman -> I love it! amazing sound quality and a nice Equalizer.
4 years old sony with anti-shock and radio, waiting for stolen it...and buy a better discman...
Iriver iMP-350 or 400 both thin and nice package like girls

I bought an samsung yepp mp3/cd player and it was pretty cheap (90$) but it lasted me for only 4 or 5 months before it sorta broke down... so yeah.. can anyone give me any suggestions?? |
