Filipinos who like trance...I thought that never existed. I'm from Sydney and my parents come from the Phillippines.
btw Ferry COrsten loves Cebu, and named his track Ligaya
Lets be proud about that
heheh
You damn right about that heheheh.
:P
I want Ferry to remix my track :P
Oh ya NFO on Trance with Filipinos... Its a big scene in Manila as is in CEBU. Think about it.. its like saying "I never knew Trance existed in Europe" Philippines is like those other Azn Countries dedicated to the Trance scene aka Hong Kong and Malaysia.
And my cousin who is part owner of Odyssey under her Brother who owns it always loves to see PVD every Thanksgiving she so damn lucky she gets free tickets cuz they like advertise the cds and stuff. Well she wouldn't have known about em if she didn't ask me what music I liked.
To bad she doesn't have direct connections to Djs themselves.. but she is friends with Dario Brothers and the NBK (Natural Born Klubberz) so she gets her NFO there.
What I really want to see is Ferry spin at Burakai.. I think thats how you spell it, but man that is the most beautiful resort I've seen.. It's where they also hold the PGA tournaments or one of the major events cuz they got a big ass Golf course on the island where I played at and omg.. so embarassing should have seen my balls like fly everywhere, even the woman Caddies were better then us.. they were laughing soo much it was humilating. Worst part my bro was making me miss my shots by telling me there was a bird next to me so I swung and missed the grass and almost fell down. Anyways.. its a great island the water is clear and not even cold its warm. It has sand underneath and no rocks or fish until you reach 100 feet, not even coral. I went skinny dipping for the heck of it and then again humilation my 16 year old cousin and my sister took my shorts on the shore and left it 10 feet and i was a stupid mermaid on the shore screaming to give it back while my ass was like wading in the water. Ya those were the days but ya, that would be the best place to throw a crazy party.. Right on the beach where its warm at night and water is not cold.
Just giving a heads up on a thought of having that. Its really a great place to stay and tourist attraction I tell ya.. So anyone here planning on going your in for the ride of your life.. Now that is what I call a vacation time off.

What up, all you fucking FOBS!! j/k.
i dunno about the whole Filipino power thing (does such a thing even really exist? lol), but i got pride an i represent.
LOL
Nah I thought about it as a slogan cuz I was watching some cartoons.. rofl and I decided hey why not ROFL... I forgot what cartoon it was..but it made me laugh hehe.
Oh ya
Now I remember.. its Scooby Do's little assitant dog hehe when he goes PUPPY POWER!!

the sad thing I hate is when you step out of the airport in Manila, the BIG thing hits you right in the face, and you feel like going back inside.
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
Kumusta ka?!
Sorry work with about 9 diff asian nurses in the ER. Not fil tho..
100% flip here
and Xav u talkin about the heat. it sure hits u right when u step outside. well i went to Boracay when it was still in development. there were about maybe 6 villas and more on the way. well it was sure sweet and it was interesting getting there because from Manila my fam and i took, the plane for 45mins, then rode in a van for another hr or so, and then took a boat to the island for about 30mins. it was a pretty cool trip and its nice to go chill on an island w/o all this crazy shit in the city. sadly thought i wasnt into trance as much i as i am now so i didnt get all the tunes to chill to. next time my fam goes ill sure be loaded with choons and ill be chillin on the beach.
i'm mixed, mom is from Manila, dad is from Amsterdam, have some cyber lechon on me!

LOL
Lechon yummm.. Lol ya thanks for correcting me on Boracay.. I guess am not a good speller when it comes to the Philippines ;p. But I remember what I listened to in Boracay.. Chicane all the way man oh man it was amazing perfect setting for the music. My mom owns part of the villas there and they are pretty nice too. I mean really nice kinda like a suite. It has two bedrooms and a living room with kitchen and TV and a stereo and not to mention two bathrooms with a hot tub and a cubicle shower thing. Hey anyways if your from America or Europe its mad cheap to go there. Beers are 1 dollar ;p the highest you can go is like 5 dollars. So basically a Heinken is 1 dollar or a miller draft and Corona's are two dollars. Even if the age was 18 there to drink you can still drink under aged because they don't check ID cuz they don't care rofl. As long as you offer them business thats all they need to know. I remember my 13 year old cousin buying drinks for us ahaha cuz we told her too lol.
i'm 0% flip

im 100% flip in the NYC area. very few flips here in the trance scene except for me and my boys.
someone has mentioned that Ferry Corsten wrote the song Ligaya because he loved Cebu. actually, he is married to a beautiful Filipina named Lia, and he wrote Ligaya for her. i met them two weeks after his set at Club Exit in NYC. he graciously signed my friends ass while i was too busy sucking up to his wife. =p
