is they legalize weed, they should start legalizing other stuff.. (say speed or XTC)..
my 2 cents, but i really don't care. The only thing that would piss me off is the nasty smell weed gives off!!!!

defianetly should be legalized..as i have read in prior posts..there are a lot of worse drugs legal..

Reason (uneducated)people have a problem with legalizing weed
1 It's a gateway drug
2 it can give you cancer
3 it makes you crazy like heroine can
4 it causes crime
5 it extremely addictive
6 it kills brain cells
7 too many to name but if you have one post it and i will address it
Reasons it should be legalized
1. if one can call marijuana gateway drug and say it should be banned because of this then you might consider the fact the the average marijuana and harder drug user started with nicotine at age 15.4 years old alcohol at 16.1 years old b4 marijuana at 17.2 years old. For every 120 people (in the US) that has smoked marijuana (over 83 million americans admitted to it since 2000)there is only one active regular user of cocaine. The reason so many people consider it a gateway drug is because its the most widely used drug in the world so not surprisingly it is the first drug most people try. in order for it to be considered a gateway drug it must cause a mental reaction that makes you have to have something stronger. Also if marijuana was legalized then kids would stop buying bud off of street dealer who may also push harder drug. therefore we would be taking away contact with people who sell drug and the current user rate of harder drugs would drop dramatically over the next few years. new user rate would be at a all time low.
2. Judge Francis the administrative law judge at the DEA concluded that marijuana is one of the safest therapeutic substances known to man and in fact it is safer then most foods we commonly consume. for example if one were to eat ten raw potatoes it could result in a toxic response and possibly death. It is impossible to overdose with marijuana.
3.if it makes you crazy then how come we don't have 83 million crazy american potheads running around killing people and in mental institutes...and there is absolutely nothing wrong with me
4.marijuana doesn't case crime it is the drug market surrounding marijuana. legalize marijuana and sell it cheap to put the major drug traffikers out of business thus eliminating crime between high status drug lords because they are out of business
5.it is a proven fact that it is not mentally addictive
6. yea so does sneezing caughing and so on brain cells are always dieing no matter what we do thats ok though because they are also constantly regenerating
7. if any one has any question ask me i know what i am talking about and i have plenty of resources and answers and proof for those answers. i campaign for drug policy reform and a stop to the drug war locally.

I don't like the crap at all, but it should be legalized, mainly to free up prison space of people who simply don't need to be there.
I think smoking it in public should be illegal, but possession and using it in your own home shouldn't be.
