Ya, I know all about the Pheonix thing. But it's not a short series (at least the original one wasn't). So I wonder how they'll cram it all into one movie.

As for Jason; was it Proteus? Cause he really reminded me of a character from the comics called Legion. Although I could have them mixed up.

As for Franklin Richards; if they start making referencs to him, then it's almost inevitable that the Onslaught plotline would follow.

First off i doubt anyone reading this thread didnt know that things would get spoiled. Before i typed my message there was plenty of spoilage going around.

All i gotta say is they gotta bring Bishop in, or Gambit and get rid of shitty Iceman.

WTF. Iceman r0x. I think there definitly going to keep him and Iceman will have a big duel w/ Piro in the third installment. Thats why I believe that there was alot of focus on the two in the second.

Excellent movie, I liked it even more than the first which was also good. Yeah, that was definately the Phoenix on the bottom of the lake they showed @ the end...can't wait to see what they're going to do with the 3rd installment.

It was good, it wasn't what it could have been though.

My opinion is > Its not good until they bring in gambit.

Onslaught is a combo of Magneto, and the Professor, which pretty much make him all powerfull (Except for Xman, Phoenix, or Franklin Richards)

All the references to the next will make the 3rd one a kikass film. I just hope they don't bastardize the x-men franchise.
Storm is sooooo sexy, and I wonder why Wolverine didn't take mystique's sex, that woulda been cool. He could ask for any women in one session!! lmfao!!! i'd hit that!
I noticed the gambit reference, w00t!!! The nightcrawler scene in the whitehouse was absolutely a hollywood hallmark...that was just pure amazing shit!!
One thing that pissed me off was that Iceman coulda used ice to hold the water in the end and save Gene, but still let her become Pheonix!

I dont think Iceman's powers are that advance yet therefor thats why nothing couldnt be done. Jean needed to die anyways ot keep the real comic book feel to the entire movie, if she didnt die im sure alot of x-men fans wouldve been pissed off.

Also, when will we get to see Rouge fly, and I saw no reference to Gambit or Beast. Someone point it out to me when there was a reference made to either of them.

I would love to see Rogue fly, In the comics she not only can absorb the energy, But has super strength and is capable of flying cause in the original comics and cartoons, She absorbed almost all of the energy from Miss Marvel who had super strength and could fly, So she permantly inherited her powers.

As soon as Cyclops mentioned her nightmares shaking the room, i knew that the phoenix was coming... then when i saw her eyes flame,,,,, i couldnt beleive they would use the Phoenix saga in the third installment. Its going to be fucking crazy.. buy the way, Ice man lives in toronto and is a friend of a friends. He has a twin brother that auditioned for the role but lost to his own brother! LOL

But MAtrix will make way more money....

Cyclops's character doesnt fit in IMO for the movie. Dont know about there being an X4.. Thought they were only making 3. Someone fill me in.

beast is originaly a scientist before he gets all that hair and becomes a beast. Hes in the movie i believe as a human. Was that Collossus i saw in the movie?????? My Xmen comics memory is failing me.

alls i wanna say is.... im a giant sceptoc when it comes to movies woithout blood,guts, and stupendous amounts of tits in them, but i saw this at the ciname the other night, and i kinda enjoyed it, nice sfx.... ok storyline,,, id say 75% towards the way of becoming a 'must see' movie

Since some of you are asking, I'll tell you the appearances of some of the popular comic book characters.

Beast: A human on the TV as Hank McCoy, a scientist
Colossus: The tall, buff kid who helps the other kids. At one point in the dark being fired at, his body turns into metal
Gambit: When Mystique is on the computer, there is a list of names of mutants and Remy Lebeau (Gambit) is one of them

saw the movie yesterday...

the one character i don't really like is cyclops... what a loser...

wolverine is definately cool and nightcrawler is awesome...

as for rogue... i'm sure having her have the same abilities in the cartoons or comics would be great... but then again it would look stupid in the movie...

i definately think there is going to be phoenix in the next movie... and it would be cool if they had those sentinal things... those were cool
