Airwave vs. Rising Star - Sunspot [Don't Cry My Love Mix]
made me cry last week at Antwerp Is Burning during Armin's gig.

I'm not really emotional, but actually, it still makes me almost cry when I'm listening to chicane - saltwater,
there was one unforgetable moment in my local club in summer 2000

Posted by SebG on May-06-2003 20:10:

HEh

Not crying as in CRYIng...HEhe Tearing, little tear in your eye, like a watery eye.

I actually have the same with that track, but, like seb says, just a little watery eye... But, I sometimes have that with Rank1-Airwave(especially with the ATB mix) too, and last 1, Robert Miles-Children, there my list of "watery eye tracks" stops

I like to cycle around in the dark with my md-walkman on and just trance, trance, trance...

The combination of the darkness, the music and the motion is so good for both the mind and the body... I love it like that.

I danced once to Suburban Train on the way home from college

I was thinking the same thing with Neverending Melody. Thats a real powerful tune. Also, Open Your Mind(Magikal remake)

I cry whenever I turn on mtv and listen to what's currently "popular"

Posted by Inertia on May-07-2003 00:17:

im wuth occrider.

but seriously,
not necessarily has to be trance, prog, house, tribal
and many other genres have gotten me emotional.

i once fractured my pelvis and the doctor said
i might never walk again. i cried a bit. as you
can see, i dont cry for just anything, my friends
say im dead inside (lol) but, hell, crying is
something reserved for meaningfull things, like
good good music. but when that DJ drops:
Steve Lawler - Rise In (original/nalin & kane mixes)
at the right time it gets me pretty emotional.

also has to do with the mood, if the DJ drops a track
at just the right time, when you're high on the music,
it gives you a feeling of complete happiness, of being
complete, its amazing. go see a 5+ hour Deep Dish set,
and youll get what i mean. people, danny tenaglia was
right, muzic is the answer.

other tracks that can take me down:
solar stone - seven cities (avb/avb vocal mixes)
solid sessions - janeiro (chiller twist blue line rmx/avb vocal)
sasha - cloud cuckoo (luke chable rmx)
watkins - black am (original/king unique dirty dub mixes)
motorcycle - as the rush comes on (sweeping strings rmx)

a few others...

trance has never made me want to 'shed a tear'

Posted by T_2199 on May-07-2003 18:33:

I cried to Andreas Krmer - Zuckerbrot & Peitsche
Can u imagine this ?? LOL
but just because it reminds me of some girl

Posted by UglyDave on May-07-2003 19:52:

I some times think that if i was out, winged, and havin a really good time + gettin a great buzz + then i heard one of the following tunes:

Veracocha - Carte Blanhe
SolarStone - Solarcoaster

I would almost collapse and just squiggle about on the floor in absolute ecstasy and experience the greatest feeling in the world.. I dunno, even listenin to the tunes in the car just makes me feel all.. nice + good etc...

Dunno if i'd cry or anything.. I'd enjoy it anyways

never shedded (sp?) a tear, but often had goosebumps or double takes. like, "holy crap that was awesome" and had to play it again. Isn't music powerful like that? such a great part of life.

Posted by naeblis on May-08-2003 02:02:

Accadia - Into the Dawn (James Holden Remix), was the first song that made me shed a tear, completely voluntary. It was a nice experience, but not one that I would want to happen a lot.

i got you loud and clear. the darkness isnt really necessarry for me actually. im going to school with me bike, and the ride takes like 40 minutes. so i program some tracks on my mp3-player and off i go. lol man, even in the rain im nodding happily with a good tune on ^_^.

and yes, as you said, the several combinations make it soooo perfect do drive calmly and enjoy the beauuuuuuuutiful sounds . just cant describe it... man, its just sooo wonderful.. i listen to a lot of genres (ie non-electronic) but only trance gives me that undesribeable (?) feeling. love it sooo much!

When I heard to uplifting trance, I tend to think about things... I mean, these higher things in life. I think about the past, about the people, about everything... And then, sometimes(VERY sometimes), I shed a tear...
