Yes, i was a little skeptical with all the hype, and was actually preparing for a let down. But there isnt..besides the fact that u have to wait another 6 months for the 3rd installment.
The FX and action scenes are I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!! Definantly best ive seen. Some of those action sequences will make you be in awe and laugh at the same time cause its soo damn good.
One thing, you have to pay attention to what many will call 'boring' but i call interesting dialogue scenes. There is some heavy philosophy which IMO gives the movie some depth rather than just being pure eye candy. It's also perhaps the most stylish movie ive seen. Very, very cool film. Very enjoyable.

don't waste your time with the pirated version online. It's a mislabeled cam, which means that they used a video camera in the theatre without a direct audio source (i.e. sound is recorded from the theatre and not directly from the movie through a cable).
See for yourself. The sample is floating around on bittorrent sites. Personally, I would rather see this movie on the bigscreen instead of just a 19" monitor. Of course you don't get the full audio/visual effects as well.
Support the movie by buying tickets and watching it in the theatre.
i loved this as well!! Neo rocks! There was one scene that was a lil too long, but otherwise I was hooked.
Definitely a movie for the big screen tho! I never saw the first one in the movie theater and I regret that.
I'm soo ready for the 3rd one in November! 
Enh, like it was said earlier, I was kinda disapointed, far too much hype in my opinion, but still a great film.
Lots of un-needed footage I thought, but the tribal dance was fooking sweet! Lotsa hotties out there hehe.
It had the regular kung fu fights thru out, but I was disapointed in most of them because the sounds were terrible, slappy, wussy type sounds; not the type of bone crunching smack you would expect after being smashed with a hammer.
And guess what, you thought you were sick of samples from the first matrix??? Well this movie is going to be HUUUUUGGGEEEE in the sample industry...wow I think everyother line was designed to be used in songs.
Lotsa hotties though, my oh my, glad I saw it in a big theatre, but still kinda disapointed...
My rating is 8.9/10

yea, it was pretty good. seen a lot of other messageboards with conclusions about the ending and such that sound very realistic as to where the story is going and why what happened happened, but the real important part?

Did anyone who watched it stay until after the credits? I heard there was a trailer for Matrix Revolutions (the next sequel).
Pros:
- kickass special effects
- car chasse is godly 
Cons:
- plot crumbles under its pseudo-philosophical (determinist) approach.
- Some plotholes from the first fixed, many more created
- Random kung fu fights each 10 minutes are tiresome, more of the same.. ;(
Conclusion:
A must see movie, but only for the effects.. 
yep, people are telling me i shoulda waited after the credits...cuz there was a 'treat', but i don't know what it was.
i am assuming it was the revolutions trailer...but since ididn't stay i can't confirm it

I'm not even gonna comment anymore about the movie. My brain is soo tired trying tofigure out the stroyline and where it was suppose to go. Definitely a a good movie to see for action and SFX.
Wow. What a sweet movie! Got to see it at 10:00 on Wednesday night. Had to drive through hail, lightning, and a tornado warning (sirens + all) just to see it but it was worth it.
Not as good as the original, but still awesome. The ending blew, totally left me angry because I was super confused, but hopefully they will explain it in the 3rd one. Special effects were sooper sweet.

Aight, for those of you who have seen it, I want to ask some questions? Who was the freaking guy at the end? The guy that Smith had gotten into? And what were they talking about at the end when they were saying he was the only one left they found? Gosh darn! This movie left a total freaking cliffhanger and I am going insane trying to figure this out!

- THE MOVIE F^cking ROCKED! The effects and everything. I wasen't that hyped, but I was .. hehehehe, it was better then I thought. Great Great Great movie. Ofcourse, this movie is made for people who would use their brains. It's not like a 4 years old movie where everything is given. Use your brains, and you will know what "THE MATRIX" has for you hehehe.. the effects, the music ( what was that one song when everyone was dancing, celebrating and the guy was making love or, heaving sex with the girl ? ..the song was so great )
Anyways, great movie, if you want some quality production, go see it.
By the way, for the people that want to see the trailer for the " Matrix Revolution" stay after the credits.

yeah, i kept having to tell myself that i already knew what the matrix was, and this movie wasnt going to be able to have anything that shocking in it. The discussion with the programmer of the matrix at the end probably bored anyone who doesnt know math and programming and stuff hehe. but come on they had a 996 in there...you know its tight. good fights, and instead of thinking they ripped it off...ill say they payed homage to crouching tiger hidden dragon with the weapon scene.
my only problem that isnt neccessarily a problem is that if you went to go to see a tight ass fight/car movie with crazy effects you got it, but youd get bored with the endless philosophical conversations. They seemed out of place and were placed as seamlessly as something like that could be, but still were kind of awkward. The twins need to show up more, and if they died im gonna be pissed, cuz they were awesome. We are getting upset...love it!
Good movie if you go in with different expectations/no expectations
