Sven Vath's night was just incredible, one of the best nights ever, its always hard to believe that some other night can top the one you just went to... and it happened 24H later with Deep Dish. These guys are awesome, the party was out of this world, everybody was smiles, I just loved it!!
We'll see if tonight Smith and Barbara will top yesterday...
I think this is the best party weekend ever...
i just came back from Barbara and Smith , great set from the lady i was surprised she played tracks with a trancey feeling on them , she even spun Marco V - Solarize , i loved how she ended the set with a nice track i heard for the first time
Smith also was great specially when he dropped Cave - Street Carnival , i went nuts as usual
deep dish
it was some wicked night
u get to see the difference between a good dj and a fucking legend
on top of the list i will always have Digweed, tenaglia, sasha and deep dish.
track selection was number 1
crowd was into it ,they were ready for a marathon .
so to make this short.. Benson and hedges, we now want danny tenaglia in September when everyone wil be back from their summer and a real Marathon for at least 20 hours.
ps:danny tenaglia vs deep dish, stany cut(21-8-2002)
download this and u will know what a real dj is
Just got back from Mistress Barbara and I am a zombie! Im still nodding my head and I can hear the beats in my head. I went abosuletely nuts especially when Street Carnival came on! I met Fast, Zing a Malek and SpoutnicK and talked with you guys a bit. Taha you are right glowsticks are for newbies man.. last time I bring them. Christian Smith seemed to like my dancing cause he kept smiling at me everytime I would cheer at him. Thats it for now untill this zombie state goes away.

yeah miss b was fuckin good
i didnt stay for christian smith cuz my legs were in pieces (i walked 13 km on sunday march to jerusalem) it was nice meeting fast and razeryokes.
props go out to patrice for the wonderfull hookups :d
i realised thant wen u dance to techno ur legs melt 7 times faster than when u dance 2 house
marco g's set was fuckin crazy!!!
Dude! I danced like 5-6 hours on friday night at ARIA and Sunday morning my back and legs were still hurting... rarely happens after House and even Trance nights! I guess because most of the guest DJs at Aria play for 3-4 hours and I rarely stay once they finish.
SVEN VATH was CRAZYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
7hours non stop crazy techno..!!!!!!!!

sven vath was tha man!!!
o damn i need a Sven up its so hot outside
Wow, what a weekend! I was so glad we made the trip.
Friday blew me away. I heard Sven in Toronto briefly last November, and he disappointed me. But my BF loves him, and he offered to buy my ticket, so I went. Besides, I was coming up to Mtl for Sunday at Aria anyways.
Well...the first hour or so of Sven's set didn't do much for me. Too much dark, electro-ish stuff to get me moving. He started playing more upbeat stuff shortly thereafter, and I was so impressed from that point on! The way he picked tracks that fit so well together (you almost couldn't tell he was doing such a short mixes, since each track worked together so well), the way he interacted with the crowd - every autograph request was honored, even when someone just held up a flyer and pen from down on the dancefloor. He even took a track request or two. He danced with people on the way to and from the washroom, and he spoke with people who leaned over the end of the DJ booth. A total "people's DJ" if there ever was one.
I must say, long sets are the best. It's too bad DJs don't play them more often - they obviously seem to enjoy doing so!
Sunday was excellent as well, except for the heat issue. Christian impressed me, Barbara was great, and it wasn't too busy at all. Got to say goodbye to silke, who was determined to party til the last possible second!!
So now I'm back in T-dot, recovering....thank you Aria for the best long weekend I've had in awhile!!
After the first 2 days of the Crash weekend, my expectations were pretty high for the third and last day.
Well, the club wasn't packed like the previous day, but still everyone was there for only one purpose: DANCE!
Miss B kicked ass, she did some mistakes, but they were barely noticable... still, she was on the party and enjoyed every second of it
Then Christian came with some harder and louder beats, almost sounding like drum n bass, the problem was i was way too tired to enjoy his set, i even left before he ended.
MISSION STATUS: COMPLETED, 3 parties in 3 days
