I've been smoking for 6 years and I'm still not addicted. Maybe it's because I don't smoke much, only @ parties, when I'm stressed or have to study. I'm able not to smoke for days.

maybe you should change to a stronger cigarette then... i dont udnerstand people who smoke ultralights. i mean, you know you are going to have to smoke like 4 to be satisfied, so why not just smoke a marlboro red instead and be done with it?

I smoke lights... usually L&M Lights. It's not that I need to smoke 4 to be satisfied, usually 1 does when I'm stressed. I mnoked one after another when I was meeting a girl who was an addicted smoker... She gave me cigs so I didn't refuse. But after I went back home after that smoking session I cough while getting sleep.
I also like cigs cause they make alcohol work better... 3 beers are like 5 when you're smoking.

if you're going to smoke, them smoke regulars only... the 'lighter' cigs get, the more chemicals they have...

I don't want to get addicted. My bro suffered a lot to reduce his smoking from 2 to 1 pack a day.

reducing the amount you smoke doens't really help you quit (if thats what he was attempting to do), just puts you in a state of denail and will worsen your condition in the long run... thats if you're thinking of cutting down and eventually quiting...

if you're just trying to cut down, then thats a different story...

i once quit for 6 months (i wanted to see if i could quit and if it was hard), and i hadn't lit up once in those 6 months... anyways, once i went back and had that first smoke, i coughed and felt like i was gonna puke, i had totally forgotten what it was like to smoke... by the time i had those 2nd and 3rd cigs, i was back on track... anyways, i don't really regret going back, cuz i just wanted to find out whether i could or could not quit, and if it had been any harder to quit, i prolly wouldn't have gone back to smoking...
