Is weed in Holland kind of like jaywalking in the U.S.? It's not legal or illegal, just recommended for your own safety that you don't do it?

It's not legal and also not Illegal, and I think it's the right way because it's safes time for the police to go after real criminals... They also can check the quality and safety of the weed.... ( they also do that with XTC ) . I hink it's great, i'm a smoker myself and i can't imagine that i would have to smoke it sneaky because it's illegal...
