It says "San Francisco Bay Area" / "NorCal" .... San Jose is in the "San Francisco Bay Area," so that would include you

If no one minds, I think I will work on a new NorCal sig that we can all use. I have a graphic arts background somewhat and even started my college path on it. I don't really do it anymore, as the past few years I've specialized in the broadband video production and broadcasting. Anyhow, yeah...if I have a good day I can make something rather cool, me thinks.

If anyone objects, let me know so I don't waste my time....some examples are below showing what I can do...

A sig I use on a forum I run (note I whipped this up in about 15 minutes)...

Another piece of art where I actually spent some time to get the effects right - why I am fond of this one is not whether it looks great, but the effects used to create the look of it were all standarad Photoshop 5.5 (yes, 5.5...and oldie version) filters, and not using any plug-in addons.

First, your location says "the valley," is that the San Fernando valley in Southern, CA? If so, you shouldn't join the Northern, CA alliance.

First of all, I may be rEtarded but I'm not THAT dumb. When I refer to the valley I mean the horrible central valley, northern region of the san joaquin(that may be mis-spelt). To be super technical I live in Modesto. About an hour and half away from the bay. Sooo chill =)

OK, here's my first real rendition of a new one...feel free to use it, but please host it on your own server as it's on a server now at my work and if there is a huge spike in the stats for an image like this, it will be noticed. I just don't want to get into any trouble.

Let me know what you think - I think I will make a few that people can choose to use if this feedback of this one goes well. Note all the original pics were taken at 1015 Folsom. I just did a little editing and color meshing from three pics.

Here's a slightly different one - added the bay bridge with downtown in the background on the bottom left...subtle, but gives it more bay area personality...not sure if I like the addition yet, though.
