if ur planning on making money from djing right off the back you gotta whore yourself out.

me and friend kyle did our first 3 parties for free through those parties we got more refernces and more people wanting us to dj their parties. be it there all birthday party/graduation parties and we cant play what we always want the whole night (god damn elecrtic slide) the money is still green at the end

and the worst part is at these parties we dont beatmatch at all just cue the tracks up and move the crossfader they wouldnt be able to tell the difference anyway if we did the whole night perfect. the point is just get out there and do it. whenever someone in his school is having a party we usually dj it just because everyone knows that we do it and if you dont believe me that it will work were booked just about every weekend untill the end of july

just make sure you got the skills to back it up if someone starts to doubt your abilities or you get a good opportunity in front of you

i completely agree! House music is the stuff that people dance to. start with house, move into "accessible" trance, stuff like darude, atb etc.

then hit em with the euphoric hands in the air stuff like AVB Tiesto PVD etc.
