The TRANCE ADDICTION (live) is the only one on the web for now , the DJ APX Live @ One Sat May.17.2003 should be available next week & I also have a little something called Project Chaos which is pretty damn hard .

I am downloading your mix right now . Corderoy totally ownz & should be played by many more . I sure will include it in one of my future mixes , but which remix ... hmmm , we'll see .

2 weeks is max too- you could get people going at it daily.

You can challenege up to 2 places ahead of you- if you lose- you have to wait 2 weeks to challenge again- If you are challenged by a lower person than you and you lose- then your time frame is reset

i like the idea of trying to agree on a judge, that would kind of solve the whole different styles problem.

as far as the bickering that was posted, please dont do that in this thread, pm each other or whatever. thanks in advance.

i do agree though that things could get "ugly" pretty fast with certain types of people, but if we lay the ground rules down as kaoss has been doing, the spirit of competition could prove quite positive.

tell me if i'm wrong, but YES, this competition WOULD be us going against each other, but this would be to push us and make us better and for fun. if this is not your brand of vodka, dont bother with it, i think we should only do it if we get people who are ready to party..

RULES

Initial Rankings will be randomly picked or we can go on the results of the mixoff VI-

Entry

Players may submit name and contact information directly to the moderator.

New players will be assigned no rank ("--"), and may challenge other unranked players or the 4 lowest ranked.

Challenges

Unranked players may challenge other unranked players, or the 4 lowest ranked. Ranked players may challenge up to 2 positions immediately above their own standing. The player must accept the challenge within (1-2???) weeks or forfeit.
All requests for a match that are rejected must be reported to the moderator.

Match Rules

Any format/medium is acceptable.

Mixes are to be 30 mins either live or memorex.
Lower ranked player has option of going first or last.
Judging will be agreed on the following between the two participants:
In the 1 of 3 case Judging- both must agree on all judges.
1 Judge
3 Judges
Open Forum in a chat room with total votes counted when done.

Ladder Ranking
If 2 unranked players play, they will acquire the 2 lowest positions on the ladder, with the winner acquiring the higher one.
If an unranked player wins against a ranked player, the unranked player will acquire the ranked player's position, and shift all players below down 1 position.
If the ranked player wins, the unranked player will acquire the lowest position on the ladder.
If a lower-ranked player wins against a higher-ranked player, the winner will acquire the losing player's position, and shift all players in between down 1 position.
No changes in position will result if the higher-ranked player wins.

Other Items
The ladder runs indefinitely.
When movement on the ladder has become stale, the rules may be temporarily modified to promote movement.

Well- i guess best thing to do is get all the names- then ill enter them all into a hat and pull- random initial rankings.

The track list was posted so you knew every song before you even listened . My point is : if you don't like the cretin type of music or artists , don't listen to it & simply let them be . They put a lot of hard work into their creations . Peace ...
