Well, I can't answer your question but I know I am one of them..

I'm more into the deep, 'intelligent' (though I don't like to use that word myself, others do use it though) techno.. Favourite labels include Keynote and Kanzleramt.

Try and listen to Diego, Alexander Kowalski, Joris Voorn or the latest Der Dritte Raum-album to know what I mean

Richie Hawtin, Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen, Jeff Mills... I love it!!! and then at the end of this month i think im gonna be heading up to Montreal to see the 3 deck masta, Carl Cox...

I love that stuff too man, house/techno/breaks... All that stuff is tops on my list with trance somewhere down the line. Not that I don't like it, I just love music that really does put you in a trance, fast hard-hitting techno for example.

Tech House is bringing a fresh sound to EDM. DJs like Terry Francis, Lee Burridge, Mr. C are among the top Tech. House DJs I listen to. It's a bit different from Proggy House, but give it a try and you never know what new surprises you'll find.

First of aLL there is a huge fukin big difference between tech-house and techno ... i hate techno and no offence to all techno fans on the board it's just my opinion .. i like dark tech house .. for example tony thomas - cannibals << i love it it has recently bee n released on soma records ..

I like it sometimes, just a lot of techno/tech house DJ's spin very boring sets. I enjoy it when it is done well, same goes for Prog.
