Listen "mr. dj who has friends that know mauro".. you are incorrect!
You must be a very cheesy fan of the Picotto to like Komodo. His hardcore fans hate the track. Come to any of the people i know who live and breathe Picotto and his style and they will laugh at you. Back to Cali and Komodo are some of the most hated track between the hardcore Picotto fanatics, I know because I'm friends with quite a few. As a matter of fact I just got off the phone with a friend who is a pretty decent independent DJ himself and who love Picotto. I asked him what is Picotto's genre and this is what he replied.

"Currently Picotto can be classified as either techno or maybe a harder side of euro trance. People can still debate on it, and disagree but he is not 100% techno and he is not 100% hard trance, or tech trance. He is very unique and I dont know I can't really define his style either. But you saying that he is hard-trance is not inaccurate but is also not all the way correct."

And then i went online searching a bit.. and this is what i found:

"As a DJ, Mauro is as varied as his productions but would describe what he plays as Techno. Definitions are always difficult but we think he's funky, just listen to the beats. Others think he's Hard House or Trance. It just goes to show he's indefinable. "

weblink to that is http://www.thedjlist.com/djbiodispl...e=MAURO+PICOTTO ..

so there you go "mr. i am a dj in hollywood" i dont give a damn what you are.. i know i am not wrong and you can go to hell i wont change my thinking because so much proves that I'm correct.!

oh and you saying that he is not hard-house.. I NEVER SAID HE IS HARD HOUSE.. he is HARD TRANCE !!! bye bye

No,Chris and D.A.V.E are acid techno/techno artists. If you would call their music for hard trance to their face they'd probably a)laugh themselves to death or b)be offended.

I think these links should be more than enough for you:

http://www.truelove.co.uk/labels/su...aulix/index.htm
http://www.truelove.co.uk/labels/suf/index.html

Hard trance are represented nowadays by the likes of Uberdruck,Hennes & Cold and Marcel Woods.Take a listen to for example Drugface - ****master (Uberdruck Mix) and then compare it to a Liberator or D.A.V.E The Drummer-track.Both hardtrance?I think not.

both chris & d.a.v.e. have made a few trance/progressive trance tracks under various names, but not too many.

Could you list some of them?I'd like to hear how that sounds.

Anyway,he referred to D.A.V.E's Hydraulix-releases as hard trance, which is totally incorrect, and seeing as the Hydraulix site lists D.A.V.E's releases as there as techno,I thought I'd use it to prove him wrong.

after seeing a lot of his posts in which he constantly mixes up edm genres and/or makes up new ones that no one ever heard of, i decided he's not worth even being regarded. so i just ignore him and suggest that u do as well.

... me?.... nah i fucking hate tracid traxx lmfao

Posted by RNKMSX on Jun-07-2003 00:01:

hate them 2
but warmduscher is/was produced by kai.
a.s.y.s has a high influence of kai.
(for a n00b "tracid traxxer" was that a correct answer )

lol i dont hate tracid traxx at all lol, i love tracid traxxx.... se my sig

i guess your sorta right in your answer, but ASYS's productions have always been that little bit harder, but still i would say they are sort of kai influenced, i mean, the tracid label is not only a label but its a genre too, and for a track to appear on that label it must conform to the labels genre which ASYS does, but i wouldnt say that he is kai influenced..... although kai has done a few productions with frank (ASYS)

nothin' 2 answer...you're right...but who knows that all.

If you're Tracid freak, what do you think 'bout their'e quantitative releases...

Posted by Eugene on Jun-07-2003 00:45:

If you want Hard Trance just listen to Tunnel Trance Force (TTF) or DJ Networx. Both of these are extra-hard German trance CDs.

Also listen to some of my tracks in the Amateur DJ forum my style is hard Euro-trance.

GERMAN Producers:
DJ Dean, Rocco, Sven-R-G, SeBassTian, DJ T-Rob, DJ Krid-Kid, DJ Scot Project... etc.

ITALIAN Producets:
DJ Luca Antolini, DJ Kubrick, Skam, Darksucker, Pacific Link...

to be really honest, i am well and truly into the harder side of things, and i know tracid traxxx isnt exactl the hardest label out there, but i absolutely love tracid traxxx pretty much every single tracid traxxxx realease is awesome, apart from a derb - underground, everything else is absolutley top notch
