| Originally posted by Sand Leaper No,Chris and D.A.V.E are acid techno/techno artists. If you would call their music for hard trance to their face they'd probably a)laugh themselves to death or b)be offended. I think these links should be more than enough for you: http://www.truelove.co.uk/labels/su...aulix/index.htm http://www.truelove.co.uk/labels/suf/index.html Hard trance are represented nowadays by the likes of Uberdruck,Hennes & Cold and Marcel Woods.Take a listen to for example Drugface - ****master (Uberdruck Mix) and then compare it to a Liberator or D.A.V.E The Drummer-track.Both hardtrance?I think not. |

| Originally posted by Sand Leaper Could you list some of them?I'd like to hear how that sounds. Anyway,he referred to D.A.V.E's Hydraulix-releases as hard trance, which is totally incorrect, and seeing as the Hydraulix site lists D.A.V.E's releases as there as techno,I thought I'd use it to prove him wrong. |

Come to any of the people i know who live and breathe Picotto and his style and they will laugh at you. Back to Cali and Komodo are some of the most hated track between the hardcore Picotto fanatics, I know because I'm friends with quite a few. As a matter of fact I just got off the phone with a friend who is a pretty decent independent DJ himself and who love Picotto. I asked him what is Picotto's genre and this is what he replied. "Currently Picotto can be classified as either techno or maybe a harder side of euro trance. People can still debate on it, and disagree but he is not 100% techno and he is not 100% hard trance, or tech trance. He is very unique and I dont know I can't really define his style either. But you saying that he is hard-trance is not inaccurate but is also not all the way correct." And then i went online searching a bit.. and this is what i found: "As a DJ, Mauro is as varied as his productions but would describe what he plays as Techno. Definitions are always difficult but we think he's funky, just listen to the beats. Others think he's Hard House or Trance. It just goes to show he's indefinable. " weblink to that is http://www.thedjlist.com/djbiodispl...e=MAURO+PICOTTO .. so there you go "mr. i am a dj in hollywood" i dont give a damn what you are.. i know i am not wrong and you can go to hell i wont change my thinking because so much proves that I'm correct.! oh and you saying that he is not hard-house.. I NEVER SAID HE IS HARD HOUSE.. he is HARD TRANCE !!! bye bye |

If you want Hard Trance just listen to Tunnel Trance Force (TTF) or DJ Networx. Both of these are extra-hard German trance CDs.
Also listen to some of my tracks in the Amateur DJ forum
my style is hard Euro-trance.
