They have a thing that if you buy the Fast and the Furious 1 on DVD, you get a free movie ticket to 2 Fast 2 Furious. That's a good deal, and I don't have the first one so that's what i'm doing.

Exactly my toughts when I saw the Mustang being squashed under a 18-wheeler during a highway chase in the previews...

I also prefer import cars but so what I wont trash domestics for that reason...

LoL, yeah the newly released "Tricked Out" DVD has this offer...but the old "Limited Edition" does not.

i might end up watching it to see how bad it is.
after having the first one on dvd for awhile i realized it was a really bad movie. specially acting wise. but not as bad as Triple X which is one of the all time worst one liner movies ever.

2slow2ricer i heard all the cars are like 14-17 cars which is pretty bad. i guess all their neon lights and altezzas didnt give them that extra 20hp they thought it would.

Just watched it

not as much of a flop as I wouldve expected, computerized effects a bit on the edge, but nice entertainement overall.

I just gotta say, (possible spoiler ahead), there's a race in the beginning with a Viper and some other cars, and the damn viper's eating dust all long, getting owned by a Farkin Mustang and a Mitsubishi Lancer and the likes! FFS we're talking V10 with 450 hp unless the driver's drunk or 10 years old he should get a mile ahead in a heartbeat.

guess those neons and aluminium spoiler must be the secret ingredients to gain all these additionnal HP

This movie was mediocre at best. the race scenes were nice, the cars were nice. the storyline and the acting were vomit-inducing.
