WOW! What a night. That was my 2nd time seeing him at the Commodore. I agree much harder set than in Seattle. I was up front the whole night. Got some great pix and my copy of Nyana autographed!!!! The technician was up fixing one of the CD players from what I could see, looked like the transport got stuck. William Orbit- Barber's Adagio for Strings (Tiesto Magik Remake) owned me!!!!!!! Goes off to email Goldclub about the hag dancers.

i think the only logical answer is that there is something wrong with you. because i cant think of any other reason anyone would enjoy watching 45 year old women with pseudo-clown makeup on, gyrating their hips on-stage like you are at a cheap, white trash strip club.

Maybe it's NRC - Here Comes The Rain (Push Instrumental), he played that in his set from Gelredome a few weeks ago, it has breaks halfway through, and it rocks!

They sure did!! I got goosebumps during "As The Rush Comes". One if the tunes I really wanted to ID was "Let The Shine Though" and after hearing it for the first time I must say it's pretty good He dropped that at the end of the set didn't he?

one of the first 3 or 4 tunes like i said b4??? I loved it, strangely enough it sort of re-played in my head 2day totally out of the blue then I remembered hearing it the nite b4 played by Tisto himself...i love the tune with all my guts!!!

Posted by jesten on Jun-09-2003 06:51:

The show definately kicked ass. My only complaint was they need some A/C in there. But holy shit was it a good show.

Posted by B_K on Jun-09-2003 17:39:

That track that everyone is wondering about that had the breakbeat in it was push - journey of life. He definately didn't play that NRC track.

IMO,
Journey of Life = One of the best push tracks ever. When is it released? Apparently there is a Rank 1 remix and a possible PVD Re Work

Can't wait

thanks to all u guys who went to Vancouver, u've pretty much nailed a tracklist out of this... its a pity the other American/Canadian events don't party so professionally as u guys!

Was it right after "P.O.S - Remember?

I thought I heard a tune with a guy saying something about rain so I thought it might have been "Kane Feat. Dinand Woesthoff - Rain On Me (DJ Tisto Rework)"?

Are you sure he played Sparkles though? I'm pretty sure he didn't play that...

Ferry - 1.5 weeks!!!!

Im pretty sure the second of the the 3 encores was Sparkles (transa remix)

Posted by djkeenetik on Jun-09-2003 23:38:

Ok J-Spot maybe Tiesto didnt like Calgary and the vibes wasnt there...
But HE BLEW VANCOUVER apart, it was the most energetic set ive seen any DJ play in a very long time...The Vancouver crowd gave Tiesto the energy to play such a moving set...
Personally i would have like him to play a full uplifting set like ive seen him play before, but now i dont think its what Tiesto is about...it was a fairly hard set which i still enjoyed...

I still cant get over the Vibe, it was so good and he knew it he had so much crowd interaction, and to my suprise there were hardly any pingin fucked up people

Highlights of the night:
-When he played 643 (eventhough this is one of my least fav Tijs tracks) the Commodore just exploded...
-By about 1 when he dropped Leema-Requim for a dream. everyone was startin to go on a magik journey
-The crowd went bezerk again when he played "Motorcycle-As the rush comes" that was one the highs for me of the nite and everyone was singing to it..

Posted by djkeenetik on Jun-09-2003 23:43:

There werent many dissapoints in the nite but the Lowlights:

-The goldclub girls, they had no idea what they were doin, most of them were rank...there was only one girl that could dance the tiny little one
-The set up was really nice, BUT whats up with Canadian productions and no Lasers???(no offense), i believe there was not a single laser beam for such a big show with such a big budget
-Again the gold club girls kept blocking our way when we were tryin to signal to Tijs and he could really see us well for half the nite cos of the whores...
-The lack of oxygen in the commodore, i was sweating my balls off, it was so hot!!!

Posted by djkeenetik on Jun-09-2003 23:51:

I was dissapointed he didnt play my copy of
Delerium-Silence (Dj tiesto's In search of sunrise remix)
by he signed it i guess...
Im glad we waited at the back for 1 and a half hours...the look on his face, he didnt expect that
-Also dissapointed he didnt play any Andain tracks-Beautiful things would have gone down well with the crowd i think...oh well anytime

I was so happy to wait at the back of the Commodore for him to come out!!! He hugged some of us and put his arms around all of us for photos
