The london tube was deeeeeep. Some stations were 3 or 4 "Paramount Escalators" Deep, Now that's crazy

By far! Was there, takes at least 5 minutes or so to get all the way down on escalators.

yeah ,I remember. I used to live in London for a bit and the escalators go very deep... [history lesson] the subway was used as an underground bomb shelter in ww2 thats why its so deep!!! [/history lesson]

ill be there. how we getting from the bar to the docks> cabs?

for those of you that want to know...the 72A goes from union down cherry street, and almost meets with polson, the street that the docks is on. so...if you take it, and then can get off near polson

I figure if there is enough of us, we can split a couple cabs which probably won't be more than $5 so that's like $1.50 each versus 2.25 for the bus

I'll be there between 21:00 and 21:30 - as I'm taking the subway/lrt in from Scarb. Town Center. I'll be departing Scarb. Town Center @ 20:00 (it takes about 1 hour to get to Union).

Also - I have 1 (one) ticket for sale. $20 cash payable @ the pre-meet-up.

Everyone coming to the meetup can just split cabs there .. for those driving, you can get free parking on the side streets around The Esplanade (I'm not really sure how much parking is at the Docks) and then take a cab from there .. If anyone figures out how much is parking (if anything) near the Docks we could just have the sober drivers carpool and split any parking costs ..

I'm at Lawrence/Avenue - it's a little far in the east/west direction, but if you wanna share a cab going north, just give me a shout at the party.

Only thing is, if it closes early and there's after-hours stuff happening, I might follow with that.

Done. I'll be a the pre-meet (Scottland Yard) between 21:00 and 21:30. Thats probably the best place to pick it up.

Also, I think people will probably be leaving pretty sharp @ 22:00 (somebody posted that Tiesto will be playing at 23:00?!?!?).

Anyway, see you there. I gotta have dinner, bday cake and get my ass downtown.
