Maybe it's just the quality but...

sounds really cheesy, and I'm not just saying that because there's vocals, cuz I like vocals.

i'll wait until I hear a more clear version before passing judgement though, I generally like Tiesto's productions.

Hello!

it's not really selling-out anyway! selling out is where a person compromises his integrity for commercial gain. Therefore, if the track that tiesto created for c c was not even liked by him but he still licensed it cos he waould make big bucks, this would only be selling out, no? Therer is a difference bewtween seeling out and merely exploiting a gap in the market.

I would love to be in tiesto's position. it means he can bring HIS music to the public domain on a huge level. Surely only a good thing?

DJ Tiesto - make cheeze , drink coca cola (tiesto's in serch of cheeze remix)

I pretty sure

the song is ok, but i just don't understand what coca cola has to do with partying, you drink beer or some other alcoholic stuff, you don't drink cola.

I like coca cola at a party, especially when it's very hot
Nice song, and I don't see what's wrong with Tiesto's track being in a coca cola commercial.

You people who claim that this is selling out and compromising integrity must have your heads way up your asses to come up with these statements.

Posted by Turbotrance on Jun-13-2003 15:51:

The commerical video looks and sounds good I don't see what the problem is with it, In the UK Paul Oakenfold did the theme tune to Big Brother.

Are you urging people to drink Alcohol and party unhealthy?!?!?!.. LOL I personally, Coca Cola is fresh to party too.. not that I ever party drinking Coca Cola cause clubs have the BARS instead, but I rather be SOBER.

does this make paul van dyk and his motorolla effort cheese then or commercial or sell out?

Posted by puckhead on Jun-13-2003 18:11:

What did you expect??
Coke put Tiesto's face on the can
you didn't think they did that just because they like him so much
I guess its the old "you scratch my back, i scratch yours" thing

Yeah, like u would turn down CocaCola's offer .

Posted by Allyn on Jun-13-2003 18:23:

Makes me wonder what exactly that offer was...probably more money than i could live off of for a few years.

Good track also

I'm glad that there is a DJ out there getting recognition. The truth for a lot of you is that you are jealous because a DJ that you don't like is now making money on TV, while your favorite DJ isn't. It's blatantly obvious that the people on here calling him a sell-out are definitely not his fans, and most likely have a strong dislike for his music.

To sum it all up in three words:

Grow Up People.

Sounds decent. Hope this commercial comes here to the U.S., then we will see who's gonna be calling Tiesto a sell out. Just keep doing it Tijs, get that shit over here.. trance needs as much exposure as possible here in the damn states. Coke is the number #1 pop here in U.S. this commercial would expose trance to many peeps.

After all a trance artist is just getting a better recognition.

Posted by spit_heron on Jun-14-2003 03:43:

did i hear someone say "in it to win it"?

wow

Posted by annon185 on Jun-21-2003 06:10:

strange commercial...but then again...i'm not familiar with european commercials to begin with

Posted by 13am on Jun-21-2003 06:57:

Commercials as big as that advertise the whole trance culture, so why the fuck are we complaining?

For everyone who said they would turn down the coca cola commercial... they pay millions!

Posted by teo on Jun-21-2003 10:55:

the sample is that couple of secs i heard when the page loaded and saw the image on http://www.coca-cola.nl/dance/ ?? hehe maybe i need to hear it 100 of times again ...

Posted by DJDigDug on Jun-21-2003 11:21:

FFS, for everyone fucking shouting sellout tell me this, if you were in his shoes, got offered a lot of money to make a song, would you say no? Please anyone who would actually turn down every fucking money offer that came there way please post saying you would. Wtf LMFAO, how do you think people pay for studios? they just go around begging and audio equipment is donated to them, yes tiesto is loaded but i mean shit, if you say they are sellouts for making a fucking song when asked to from time to time, or for doing shit for cash then OMFG MATT HARDWICK IS A SELLOUT! he is a resident DJ OMG HE GETS PAID FOR WHAT HE DOES OMG WTF!!! what the hell are you people on lmfao, yes tiesto does shit for money, well you go to work to you FUCKING SELLOUTS!!!! Seriously grow up, this isnt rap where it is underground and mainstream and shit, this is trance, music is music, good music is good no matter where it is played and bad music is shite no matter where it is played.

The song on the other hand does have potential.
