u know that there r ppl on this board who doesnt respect other ppl's opinion, they just come in, bashing and talkin shit to everyone...

im sorry, but YOU r one of them

Well at least I don't "talk peacefully" like you do.

It's not like you respect anyone's opinion on this thread either. If people think 666 are shit then they are entitled to their opinion and YOU are in no position to tell them to fuck off.

Quite right m8, good to see at least one grown up here! If you wanna know my opinion about 666 -> dance music at it's worst!

Posted by MiB on Jun-24-2003 15:20:

nice review/new music discussion...

hmmm

Posted by BigDil on Jun-24-2003 15:25:

well, I don't think 666 (and expecially this release) deserves more than this.

Posted by Eugene on Jun-24-2003 15:29:

You people are arrogant idiots.

666 is a good group with catchy euro music. If they were bad they wouldn't be getting remixes from accomplished trance artists like Noemi, Starsplash, etc.

Stop being so arrogant!
If you got nothing to say, then keep your mouth shut!

I have listened to the remixes, and I have to say they all suck :/. Believe me, I'd be happy if they were good, but they just aren't. That's just my opinion, I don't force anyone to agree with me, so you shouldn't do that either.

Posted by Eugene on Jun-24-2003 15:42:

well, I disagree with you, I happen to like 666, so please respect my opinion too.

I do.
btw, have you actually heard this one? In my opinion it's much worse than any of their previous tracks such as Bomba or Alarma. (which I also happened to listen to back then)

Posted by Eugene on Jun-24-2003 15:50:

no, I haven't heard this one yet

but I like their style and especially their track 'Rhythm takes control'

You'll get disappointed then, I'm afraid. Rhythm Takes Control wasn't too bad indeed.

re-read the whoe thread man, and then open ur mouth...

i never told anyone to fuck off, coz they think 666 r shit...

teknikol cam ein here, called me a 10 y.o, not knowing anything about electronic music individual...

thats when i blew up

Posted by -AbsurD- on Jun-24-2003 17:29:

btw....those groups were memorable back then... and theres no need to tell me to tell me that I dont know anything about electronic music, just because I think that they were memorable.... I remember how ppl would go crazy in the club to that music....

I've noticed an interesting thing since I started surfing these forums.

If you consider the European continent, the more to the east you go (Germany, Russia, Eastern Europe), the more appreciation there is for normal, melodic, easily digestible dance music.

The farther west you go (UK, Holland and Belgium), the more appreciation there is for esoteric, progressive music -- and the more arrogant elitism you encounter. Arrogant elitism as is evident in this thread.

Sure, there are exceptions, but as a general rule this fact can't be denied.

I can't stand when people here start whining "oh, this is cheese", "that is so commercial", FFS shut the f--- up, you idiots! Stop living in a cave that you made for yourself...

are you saying 666 is for "normal" ppl, and prog for "arrogant elitists"?

and you can call me en elitist as an individual, i'll admit it. but the same reason why i won't listen to most "easily digestible dance music" is the same why you won't listen to Britney Spears or N-Sync. Because we both think it's crap made for kids (taking some guesses, obviously i can't read your mind.

i have some respect for most hard genres, even if i don't like them. but for 666 i don't. i'm sick of seeing retarded assholes thinking they're so cool by playing their 666 tunes in their wannabe tunning cars. that's why i say it's ultra-cheese, because most of the ppl that listen to it are either those dudes, kids, or ppl that haven't heard proper good electronic music.

666 is pretty cheesy!

Posted by arctic on Jun-25-2003 03:25:

This argument clearly isn't going to be settled, because 666 are clearly cheesey (even tho i like them lol), and when it comes to cheese things get nasty :P

It's probably in everyones best intrests if they just comment on the track and leave it at that.
